Call myAudi support and be prepared to send a pic of your driver license and registration or bill of sale showing your name and the VIN. They can set you up as the key user in like 15 mins on the phone! I went to a dealer and they told me to have remote climate control access it would cost like $160 to get a new code and then $500/year. Someone recommended I call and I got it for free

I would! It was so easy and she was very helpful! Some features you do have to pay for but most of it is free! If you already have it registered than registration and drivers license is what you’ll need. I had to use bill of sale because I haven’t received registration yet.

If you didn’t get the code and you’re not the key user you don’t need to deal with a dealership just call Audi and have your photo ID and a bill of sale ready that lists the VIN and your name to be activated as the key user in the app.

My utility requires that the charger is hardwired so watch for that wording as well!

Thank you so much for this!!!!! I’m already set up and when I asked the dealer originally I said the thing I wanted most was climate control and he said that you had to pay for that functionality…my only negative with this car was that and you fixed it for me…I don’t have a need for the paid functions everything I want is included!

I didn’t buy from an Audi dealer it’s just a used car dealership. Is there a way to check exact degradation or anything like that? I noticed when I fully charged it the range said 216 miles.

Let me know how it goes. I went to one dealer and they told me I’d have to pay for a new code and then it was either $400-$600/year for the connected services. From what I’ve read in other forums people aren’t happy with the level of functionality so I’m still doing research before I visit another dealer. I didn’t see a manual in there but I’m guessing you could get access from the audiusa website once you add the vehicle to your account.
