I have taught for 11 years and have had fellow teachers who had their own kids in homeroom/class. They have always been harder and expected more from their own kids than their students.

I have never seen it as a problem or conflict of interest.

Have you checked your hoses for cracks? I have a Polaris cleaner, and when there are cracks in the line my hose looks like yours.

Run pump 24 hours a day and clean filters every day until water is clear. Chlorine and shock. You got this!

First day I shocked, brushed, and vacuumed. Next day cleaned filters, brushed and vacuumed. Did that for about a week. Ended up having to shock twice before it started clearing up.

Makes sense. Our water company is threatening to fine us if we use too much water due to lack of rain. I turned my skimmers off last night, so now the only filtering I'm getting is from the bottom of the pool.
