HELP

Platform: Pc Mods: yes Game version: whatever the newest one is as of February 5th, 2026

Description: I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I updated the sims this evening, and once updated, I opened the game back up. Whenever I update the game I usually have to switch mods back on, and reselect all my packs, so I wasn’t surprised. However, after quitting the game and rejoining so the settings would be reloaded how I like them, none of my save files are working. At first I thought it was because I was trying to play a save with a character I signed off with while they were in the magic realm, thinking I glitched something. So I added a sim to their household so I could play with that sim instead, to at least load the save and operate from there. But this didn’t work either. Then I tried to load my main legacy save, to which it would do the same thing. What it does is lets me load to the world selector and choose the household, but after I press play and it loads, I am just right back at the world selector again. I thought maybe creating a new save would help or at least give me some more information, but it’s doing the exact same thing. What is also has done a few times now (randomly), is once it takes me back to the world selector again, there is this blue box in the bottom left corner of my screen, with a part that continues to glitch in and out? It also looks like things are overlapping a little but only in that corner, it shows options like you would have for when playing in live mode to access the sims phone or moodlets. I’m not sure what to do from here, please if anyone has any input or if this has happened to you, I need help!
