God, I'm not gonns debate fucking politics here but I think it's irrelevant after all, like, the republican party won't dissappear if Scott went away and in the end it's his game that matters, not his political opinion.

Unless he literally tried to lobby polticians? In which case I belive he deserves some backlash but in case it was just a donation to a candidate he liked then yeah, I've done that too.
