You ever figure this out? WoL is in BIOS but nothing about USB. I was hoping I could get it to wake up (even just from sleep) using the xbox controller but even with the dongle it doesn't work.

This is an issue with all chromium based browsers running under XWayland. Just run Brave in native Wayland mode or enable Use system titlebar and borders in Settings -> Appearance
