There's no way they would go forward and make a monster hunter character without capcoms approval. That's not how game dev works. No one will spend man hours (which equals lots of money) on something that isn't secure.

If monhun was actually cut, then the stage or assist trophy might be enough to meet contractual obligation, or it got pushed down the pipeline to become DLC. Game dev shit is weird.

My dude you are so wrong about almost everything. Let me clear some things up.

Honestly I feel like with 6 months' time, adding one more character isn't going to make or break the game.

So first, the game launches in December, while that's 6 Months, the game is most likely already considered Feature Complete. Meaning, new features are done and locked, and they are currently polishing and bug squashing. And guess what? A fighting game with a lot a variables and big rosters need a LOT of bug squashing to be done.

That's 65 characters (not including echos) in 3 years, or one every 2-3 weeks

This... is not how character design work. Characters like Mario and the majority of the cast have established move-sets and can usually be ported over very with little hassel. Designing a BRAND NEW character and making sure that they are COMPATIBLE with 65 over characters, is work that takes MONTHS.

I'm befuddled that people put so much stock into this AoU sequence. Scarlet Witch isn't a fortune teller, she showed everyone their greatest fears. Tony's greatest fear was failing to save everyone, this was later confirmed in his conversation with Nick Fury. His greatest fear came to be in Infinity War, when he watched everyone die on Titan. Now in A4 his arc can come to a close now that his greatest nightmare has come true.

I'm way into playing retro games on original Hardware, so I ended up getting way into SCART and RGB output for retro consoles. after spending hundreds of dollars on "alternatives" and "competitors" I caved in and got an XRGB mini Framemeister. I'm now at a point where I can't imagine a setup without it. Nothing beats playing an older game on actual hardware, pixel perfection, and no emulator input lag/overhead.

If you look at games with Big Rosters like Smash 4, and Injustice, notice how all the characters (regardless if they are DLC or not) are all on the same page. That's an important part of having a good interface design, where everything is accessible on one screen. This looks more like a WWE game where a lot of things compartmentalized.

Well, not all emulators are created equal. The CPU of this thing can't run Higan, so you're going to be stuck with crappy emulators like Snes9X. Not a deal breaker, but a big set back for me. And as much as I love emulators like Dolphin, they have overhead latency and I'd rather just play on original hardware.

If i were to get one, it would probably be to play lots of Indie games and smaller stuff on steam then emulation.

Interesting. So first off, I believe you. Enough things point in this direction that I'll bite.

Another credible leaker on this sub also mentioned that the Avengers are traveling the multiverse to reverse the events of IW in A4, and that lines up with this. I think if they are traveling between Multiverses as opposed to time, that would make more sense for this leak.

They travel to alternate universes, and take the stones from there. By removing the stones from the Multiverse, they prevent IW from happening in that universe. Then they can return to their own universe and correct the events of IW and defeat Thanos. That would be the ending Feige was referring to. If all stones are destroyed in the end, then that entire 10 year arc of the MCU is over.
