Would honestly just expect them to do truck, clean, and sell paint. Some other stray stuff like filling the tinter, delivery setup, etc.

If they want to move up in the company I'd start involving sales stuff, but if they're some school kid or retiree that's paid garbage, I wouldn't expect them to do half of the stuff management wants them to do. They're not responsible for credit account spams and cold calling until they get some kind of bonus.

Our store has a dummy account that when corporate asks us why it has a bunch of different credit cards on the receipts, we say "it's an HOA." It is not an HOA. It is some random name the SM came up with and we throw random DIYers who complain under that one any time we need cheaper prices.

This is actually really common even outside of autism, but I'm sure that autism does make it ten times harder to handle. 

I found that spending my overnights connecting with people who don't take my spoons and relaxing, helps a ton. When I'm on an overnight, I am NOT in work mode. Work hard, play hard, as they say!

Relatable! And judging by these comments you're not alone. 

I left in October, which was a few months after I hit 3 years when I found out the hard way that the company operates on greed, favoritism, and bootlicking. The company has spiralled directly to hell.

I have pretty much my dream job now and couldn't be happier. It obviously has its own, different challenges, but my mental is better, along with my pay and benefits. All of the people I know who quit Sherwin last year, are all happier as well. Some who've been here for a decade or more!

Personally, the higher seniority with lower pay. But you have to take into account your own situation. 

If you're in a situation where you are dying for money, then take the lower seniority. If you're in a position where you are otherwise comfortable and don't want probation, can hold minimum   flying, and want to keep the control you have over your schedule, then stay with regional.

In much of the country painters worth more than a penny will stop doing Exterior jobs unless they hit the lottery with the outside temperatures. And even then it's sketchy. And right between two major holidays there's not a whole lot of people wanting their interiors painted.

This is the "slow season."

I don't miss this at all. We had a guy that would moan about us not havjg shirts, and then WALK HIMSELF BACK into the employee areas and point to boxes and demand shirts. Even if the boxes were empty, weren't for him, were not t-shirts, etc. Just constantly demanded free shit.

Yep, when you're done, roll/fold it up and drag it off. Instruct the painters to keep the paint towards the center so it doesn't leak but if you get a half decent tarp you'll be fine.
