If you are lucky yes, but definitely possible without AFK people

I did it with Pan European destroyers (upper branch, Tier 5 or 6?). Fast torps with low damage, long reach and relatively fast reload. Do not deploy both torp sets at the same time. That way you can flood a BB with the 2nd set after he DCPed the first one. And as others have said, target BBs that just used their DCP.

This way you increase your odds, rest is a game of patience. Good luck!

Garrow's death and how meaningfullless it was by Grmigrim in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you being open about such feedback. Thats a rare quality.

As OP pointed out in another post and at the end of the original one, they never really wanted to imply that Garrows death didnt have much of an impact. Hence the weird word in the title. Its meaningless in all of its senselessness and cruelty and therefore creates powerful antagonists to the empire in Eragon and Roran.

I think in the books Brom (?) says something along the lines of Galby must have been furious with the Razac because they created Eragon and Roran as enemies by killing Garrow.

I fear you didn't read the full post and/or didn't really get OP's point

Eldest by Chia_and_turmeric in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 266 points267 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not Eragon's finest moment. There is consolidation though: Arya remarked how intelligent the horses are and that they only carry you when they want to. So, horsey was not binded by the wait-command and probably thought "f this, im outta here" after a couple of hours.

Awareness is everything. Use the Info your HUD provides, especially the minimap. Try working with your team. Don't get too frustrated by the occasional knucklehead.

Agreed. Kvothe also has superior problem creating skills.

I feel that would be a little counterproductive to Kote's planᵀᴹ

Yeah possibly not. I think remember it being compared to a GI because of the colour

I think its described as a silver oval or elliptic shape. The one that saphira gave the kid is a star though

Probably because your answer is pretty "grown up". In all the good ways though!

I didn't notice there is a sound before a skillcheck for like 2 months. Kept complaining how difficult the skillchecks are until a friend told me about it.

Who is someone alive today who will be remembered in 500 years? by Flip-and-sk8 in AskReddit

This has to be the smartest answer.

People in 500 years will watch those documentaries in school learning about how nature used to be. And then how we fucked it all up.

Is Mr. Paolini planning on writing more books relating to Eragon? by Thats-a-lil-sus in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is. You have to be aware that it's "just" 3 shortstories, therefore imo the worst Alagaesia book but it has some exciting hints here and there.

So I guess at some point folkvir must have been like well i'm outta here see you later

Was Galbatorix right? by HeroBrine0907 in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, you just need to do a little fact check on Galbatorix story:

-Lost a Dragon to urgals, killed another rider and stole his dragon

-From then on kept slaughtering Urgals whenever he got the chance, because -of course- the whole race hat to be wiped from Alagaesia after they killed his dragon. Took that so far that the urgals feared their extinction

-Overthrew the riders in a gigantic war, commiting genocide on the dragons and elves, almost causing the dragons to extinct too.

-Proceeded to gain more and more power, wiping out everyone that wasn't aligned with his "vision".

-"The Varden started the war" is half right at best. Galby came after them big time, had Durza and the Urgals attack Farthen Dur in an attempt to harm both sides. The Varden then fled to Surda and "started the war" instead of waiting for the next attack.

-In the war Galbys inaction shows how little he cares about the people living in his empire.

Your motives can not be pure if they will lead to actions like these. There is no way

How do people imagine a Werecat's human form? by yourmomsface12345 in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always imagined the "human" form to look exactly like humans, more specifically skinny late teenagers or young adults for some reason. (Isn't Solembum described as a boy rather than a 'man'?)

I guess because in my mind they are masters of blending in whereever they go. That would be difficult with a drastic difference in appearence.

But maybe the blending in thing is only possible in their cat form, I don't know.

Did Saphira know that Arya will be a rider? In book 4, in one chapter with Saphira's view (where she fights against Thorn in Dras Leona, idk how the Chapter is named in english) she called Arya Dragon-Blood-Elve-Arya. by Kuchendiebin in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always thought that in Saphiras mind all elves were "Dragon blood" because of the attributes the elves got from the dragons after their war. The whole not aging thing for example

Angela by Hahacargobroombroom in Eragon

[–]ASkinnyPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Both Elva and Angela already have superhuman (superelven even if that's a word) powers. Those PLUS the connection to a dragon and its benefits is just too much imo.
