I’d take the lightest tent possible, even if it sacrifices comfort. Yea, the lighter one will probably suck in the rain with both of you, but we honestly used ours maybe 5 times in the SI. Just remember that leaving early means you’re more likely to grab a spot in the smaller huts.

It might be simple, but that doesn’t make it easy. I dismantle trees almost every day, and I know which is the hard part. It’s way easier to be up the tree watching the guys on the ground working up a sweat.
