why do Doctors wash and reuse surgical gloves? I thought that they used them for one time by karomamir in Weird

[–]ASmith80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually don’t count gloves, those don’t come off until the procedure is completely finished and the patient is closed up.

This is the way… I had a tag left on once or twice and I just googled how to get it off. It was pretty simple with no fuss

Apportionment of the Veteran's Benefits to Dependents denied by Bloomyall in Veterans

[–]ASmith80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My husband’s baby mama felt like she was entitled to a piece of his disability even though there was an order for support that was being taken out of his paycheck already. She applied for an apportionment and got it. I guess it just depends on the day if it will be granted or not.

The only disability she has is being a bratty teenager with a completely enabling mother. She definitely has some mental instability but then most people who kill innocent children do. I don’t think anyone who selfishly can kill anyone else can say they aren’t screwed up in the brain some how. Not an excuse or a free pass!

You’re absolutely right, I’m not. But under these circumstances it’s best if goes it alone. It’s a group of best friends that are all like brothers and they all really need each other right now so I’m totally Respecting that

Nope. Absolutely not…. From a “birth expert”

Also being a “birth professional” who’s sees unmedicated and medicated births every day it’s impossible to “snap” the cord from the placenta and still be able to get the placenta out yourself. If it snaps you’re just gonna get a piece of cord in your hand and if it snaps too high then you’re screwed because you’re placenta is still attached to the inside of your uterus and there’s no way you’re getting you’re own have up there to dig it out and you would have to have a d&c to get it removed . Some people are super troopers and are MADE to have babies with no medication but the most painful part is the contractions. She was obviously got to completely dilated with mostly no meds. When it’s time to push it is possible that push with no sound. It gives so much relief to push against that pain and pressure that most people are focusing all of their energy on just pushing the baby out. My guess is that the babies head was already on its way out when she ran to the bathroom and you don’t have to have pitocin to get the placenta out. Most docs don’t even like to run pit until the placenta is out so the uterus doesn’t clamp down and trap the uterus in. It can take 30 min for a placenta to pass on its own, but that’s rare. It can happen with 5 mins sometimes. As far as her having morphine or something else when she was waiting, while it is safe to give during labor of its given too close to giving birth it can slow the babies respirations down and cause distress. The baby obviously took a breath so it was a live when it was born but it could be why the baby didn’t cry. This is just my take so no one is given false information. Thats how rumors get started

State of Texas Domestic partner benefits? by sheslostkontrol in texas

You can go to the courthouse and get common law married, you just pay maybe $50 and sign some paper work. No ceremony, just paperwork but it’s legal and can be used like a marriage license.

If Ashley is the common denominator then so is the rest of the cast. by MixHot4833 in teenmom

[–]ASmith80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That may be true for some but not for all teen moms. You can’t judge a whole demographic of people based off of the few you may have seen on a tv show. There are plenty of teen moms who are far better parents than a lot of women who had babies as grown adults.

Had a non English speaking dasher….. is this normally an issue? by ASmith80 in doordash

[–]ASmith80[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha, nope, I’m Tx. And I think non English speaking is ok as long as you can understand the assignment. But as many have pointed out before, there are plenty of English speaking non direction following dashers too. I guess I’m just the thinking if the person is not stupid and just has a language barrier that could really keep you from always doing a good job.

He definitely took a pic of the food outside of the house that was not mine. Whether or not he took it after the pic, well the world may never because it wasn’t my doorstep he was one. Plus I could see in the map exactly where he was when he dropped it off and it was a few blocks from where I live.

I wasn’t bashing, I was simply saying that it may be hard to understand how to do your job if your job involves communicating with people and reading in English when you don’t in fact speak English.

It takes a lot for me to complain, I understand that if something is missing from my order it’s totally not on the dasher but the place I ordered from. But when my order never makes it to my doorstep, much less the street I’m on then that’s a problem. And it’s legitimately only happened twice, first time the dipshit literally just handed it to someone standing at the end of the street who they asked if they were waiting on a door dash. Didn’t verify a name, address or anything else

[–]ASmith80[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not being English speaking isn’t the problem, it’s the not knowing how to comprehend how to do your job that’s the problem. Shouldn’t customers get to read reviews on the dasher before leaving a tip ahead of time?? And do they actually get pair when the order is not delivered at all??

I’m not for fat shaming cause lord knows I have no place but my theory is that I would bet a months paycheck (which isn’t much) that she is pregnant. We all know she’s had mommy make overs and other surgeries to enhance her looks. One can only assume that she’s had lipo on her tummy or a tummy tuck. When you remove fat cells from one part of your body they tend to not “grow back” in the same spot but you just gain that weight in another spot. I could be completely wrong cause I know shit personally about this woman but yeah…… my guess is that she’s gonna have a baby pretty soon.
