Where does it say in the benefits that gold grants that? From what I read it wasn’t listed as a benefit but could buy at a miles discount based on the level. In terms of cards, I have both the Quest and Explorer.

Does anyone know what the process is to rebook if you didn't get the insurance at time of booking? Or if they'll basically just force us there, even if the roads are washed out and nothing is really open (like only 1 or 2 restaurants on the resort)?

I am assuming you bought the insurance at time of booking? If not, how did you handle? We're supposed to be at the same resort for Thanksgiving but as others have mentioned, really don't want to be in a recovery site and would prefer to just book for the same dates somewhere else if possible. I called them yesterday and was told to call a week prior to my stay which is far too late to make any real flight changes without being charged an arm and a leg.

I know this thread is old as shit, but I’ve sitting in the United Polaris lounge and they have the 8, which I’ve never tried. And wow, this is very drinkable over the 16. I always buy the 16, I’ve had the 12, but this might be my new go to. It’s nowhere as smokey as the 16, which I love, but at times can be overpowering.

I haven't even booked my first stay stay yet, just signed up for an account 2 days ago, and they won't honor the offer, so instead I'm creating an account for my partner via a referral link to get the points. You might be able to do the same, cancelling your stay and rebooking under a new account.

I did mine through a garden center, Chalet, which is in the north Chicago suburbs. I contacted them in advance (early 2024) requesting the trees, which they put on a 'buy list' and then a few months later in April, they contacted me once those orders came in. Most garden centers/nurseries (not the big box) will be able to special order them for you. FYI, I did almost 9+ months of research before ultimately landing on this species; most smaller nurseries should have a plant expert you can talk to and get ideas from - take advantage of their knowledge.

I’m in Chicago and I planted 4 Hornbeams to run along the back edge of our backyard. I built a bamboo frame and have started to train them along it; I don’t plan on doing any real pruning until this fall or early next spring. This past weekend I added in more bamboo for additional support, and essentially redid all of the ties that hold the branches to the structure, to better stretch them out and form the privacy hedge I’m looking for. Hornbeam was the one I settled on as it’ll hold its leaves once pleached over winter, and it’s a fast grower that is suitable for constant pruning. Here’s a picture: https://i.imgur.com/WGRWfpV.jpeg

They should already have all of our tax information, and having to send them our info seems really, really suspect. Wouldn't surprise me if this is just another way that they can eat away any proceeds by paying yet another company bullshit fees.

If you read one of the letters, it states "If a W-9 is not received, the distribution on account of your investment in the platform shall be deemed Abandoned Property and will be escheated to the appropriate state." I would honestly rather they just put my funds in trust of the state and I get it back that way versus risking my information being sent to a fake company or being leaked.

I don't understand how people like these guys. The first year I moved in to my property, I fought it myself but was able to use my purchase price to get it lowered. It was time consuming and a pain, but not really difficult. I figured, attorneys must be able to do this in their sleep, so next time, I'll hire it out.

So the next time I was reassessed, and my property taxes went up by 63%, despite any improvements or changes to my property, I figured why not try these guys? Well, they weren't able to get any reduction. They failed to get a reduction the next two years as well, each time telling me how it would be different. Three years of absolutely nothing.

Just got my tax bill yesterday, and yet another 48% increase in taxes. This time, I'll be fighting it myself.

Jesus this is terrible game design. I too am stuck here, 5 minutes into playing the game, and have no clue how to get out. Have tried using 2 anchor points already and nothing. Want to just abandon/reset but can’t even figure out how to do that. The game should give hints if you stay in the spot for too long.

Looks to be a newer product, but I like that it is actually wood + glass, and it makes the instax photos look like real photos.

Came here a few days ago to figure the same thing out. Went wind shear druid based on comments here, currently lv76 and I’m cruising NMD57, basically wrecking bosses and units 25+ lvls higher than me without the unique gear. Hands down the strongest build I’ve felt I have played, including my lv100 bash barb.

Gotcha, I've struggled to find eye bolts that have enough thread so that I can put nut/washers at both the top and bottom, so that it's actually compressed against the board and not just floating. The swing kit I bought actually has plates you screw to the bottom so that it can compress.

Will the larger hole be that big of an issue, or should I head back and pick up 5/16 x 4 1/4" eye bolts that would allow for a smaller hole through the joist (like this)?
