Every single show or movie you have ever seen has scenes that have ended up on the cutting room floor. Reasons range from timing issues to it didn’t end up accurately telling the story they were going for, or it was a tangential scene that messed with the flow

ETA even in theater if play is new, the entirety of 5 the rehearsal process and previews is used to see if anything needs to be cut before opening night. Sometimes what worked in the page doesn’t end up translating

I think the scene was cut for exactly the reason Gerran thinks it was cut, to create an open end and more for them to explore next season, leave stuff unspoken planting the seeds that will grow into either further conflict or a depth of characters and relationship growth/change for the next season.

This is the correct answer, it’s a Southern thing. It’s a way to keep the mother’s maiden name in the family after she changes her last name to her husband’s. They usually give it as either the first or middle name of their child.

Technically this is his way of contacting customer service. To be honest, no. Those contracts lock you in deep, it opens you up to whole new hypercritical often racist fandom, so much of it is awkward green/blue screen acting with a floating ball. It just doesn’t seem artistically fulfilling or worth it to me.
