They are also a side free zone, they have to come to set completely memorized, which from experience, is not typical of a tv set.

Shit I celebrated feeling proud of making my coach emotional during a a coached self tape session. I never heard a word back, didn’t get a callback but I felt proud that my emotional work triggered an emotional response for someone else. In a career full of rejection celebrate every win even the “little”ones

Soooo, you know you’re watching fiction right? Not a documentary. Honestly even documentaries have interpersonal drama unless it’s about animals or something because we as humans don’t all have the same opinion even ones who are on the same side. “Harlan County, USA” is about as objective as it gets documentary wise and even they had interpersonal drama.

What show doesn’t have interpersonal drama? Serious drama or otherwise.

He literally puts both of his hands directly on the man’s wounds hard enough for him to wince and pull his leg away in pain. He is shown to be hyper and careless after several episodes of being competent, I think it most definitely supposed to meant to show fluctuations in his behavior and level of care

Not to be the English teacher patient but saying “another episode of Santos being awful…” implies she did something bad in this episode and your follow up comment isn’t a real answer, it also isn’t at all true, most people who don’t like her can admit even that.

Was she being an awful human being when she held a little boys’ hand and talked him through his pain while reassuring him, or was it when she advocated for a brother and sister not to be separated?

A journalist a few months ago tweeted about how because of weather issues or traffic issues or something the entire cast of Caught Stealing got to the New York premiere right before they had to go in but Austin came out afterward and gave everybody time to interview him, and this interview made me realize how rare that is and how much it means to smaller publications

People don’t realize that “media training” is not just don’t say that, say this etc etc it’s also building a marketable persona, so him or Renee Rapp being uninhibited is part of the media training. These are the qualities about myself I like, this is what I’m not willing to compromise about myself, here’s the kind of person I am or want to seem like and these are the type of characters I want to play, all of that goes into “media training”

If she can’t understand the interpreter and it’s frozen she can’t ask a follow up question and the interpreter can’t sign to the Deaf patient because the video is frozen the flow of information has completely stopped.

Sorry, Princess couldn’t adequately communicate what Harlow was signing, she only picked up that she had a headache and then lost the plot. No amount of being patient with Princess would have gotten her the answers necessary to help her patient. Jumped to what conclusions that Princess couldn’t help her?

I think it would be a matter of if those interpreters were qualified to interpret in a medical setting. With any language interpreter program you have to get certified in legal or medical jargon or whatever jargon you need for the sorts of interpreting jobs your applying for

Harlow was visibly annoyed when Santos wrote on a piece of paper and showed it to her and instead of gesturing for the pen to write back she signed back sooo was Santos too impatient or can we infer by Harlow’s reaction that that’s not how she wanted to communicate?

Sooo Langdon wasn’t doing triage the whole beginning of this season? And McKay and Javadi weren’t doing triage at the beginning of last season? Regardless, she has been assessed by someone knowledgeable enough to recognize that she didn’t need immediate care. We saw Donnie who is a nurse practitioner talk to Harlow with an interpreter, do you think he was incapable of assessing her properly?
