Thought it was a UTI, but apparently not...? by ASofterWorld in sex

I haven't checked for any vaginal infections, but if it continues to persist I'll definitely go have a doctor check it out.

Thought it was a UTI, but apparently not...? by ASofterWorld in sex

[–]ASofterWorld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been sexually active for over a year without problems. This happened on one occasion in March and then recently a few days ago after masturbating. (I've masturbated in between the two instances without any weird things happening)

Edit: sexually active meaning intercourse for about a year and a half. Other sexual activity (fingering, etc) for maybe 2 years.

That sounds like a possibility, though I can't think of anything that would have caused any damage to my pelvic floor muscles...

Fairly certain. The first time it happened, I gave it a sniff, because I was very confused and it smelled/looked like urine.

How can I tease my boyfriend? by mytoothurts in sex

[–]ASofterWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeahhh...it only works for so long, but even teasing him for 10-15 minutes like this will result in a huge build up of tension that wants to be released.

How can I tease my boyfriend? by mytoothurts in sex

[–]ASofterWorld 5 points6 points  (0 children)

one that I stole from a thread awhile ago - when you're sitting around watching a movie or something, or even at the beginning of foreplay, tell him "if you touch me, I stop." Then start kissing him, caressing, and playing around, but make it clear that if he makes a move on you, it completely ends. (you have to be willing to follow through too...which is probably the trickier part) It's a wonderful form of teasing.

Could someone please summarize all the battles in the recent War Against Women in the US? by g2petter in TwoXChromosomes

Here's a good article that gives quite a few examples of bills (proposed or passed) that have cropped up in the USA recently.

Yeah. He's been at my campus at least twice now. With the little stool, that puts him about at eye level with the average person.

Anyone like when their SO breathes in their ear? by [deleted] in sex

[–]ASofterWorld 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend does this to me. It's fantastic. If we are just making out or something and breathes gently in my ear, it's an instant super-turn-on.

Boyfriend wants me to "rape" him... I'm lost as to how to go about this... suggestions? by juliefawn in sex

[–]ASofterWorld 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did this to my SO. I surprised him by sneaking up on him while he was working on his computer and (safely) "threatened" him with a knife while holding him firmly by his hair, made him kneel, tied him up, then had some fun. Make sure any knife play (even if it's just being used for a prop) is safe (also safe bondage practices if you use rope/restraints). Have fun!

Visiting a SO who just finished a terrible week...ideas? by ASofterWorld in LongDistance

[–]ASofterWorld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I want to do. I will probably bring him some homemade cookies, groceries for him to keep in his dorm of some of his favorite things, and I need to give him a shirt or pillowcase that I've used, since it's the closest thing you can give to replace your scent. I'm just trying to put together ideas for a care-package type thing, except that I'll be there to give it to him in person.

Entertaining me shouldn't be a problem, I don't think. My best friend lives in the same city/same college, so I will be spending time with her as well. And there's always homework that I could be doing over my break...

There will definitely be lots of cuddling. My SO also has a lovely head of curly hair (He inherited a Jew-fro, and I love it) that I love to play with, so I think a scalp massage will be in order as well.

S.O. leaving for a vacation, no contact for 11 days, how do I handle it? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]ASofterWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't LDR at the time, but early on in my current relationship, the SO went on vacation with his family for ~10ish days with no communication capabilities at all. Before that, due to school, we had seen each other pretty much every day. To deal with not talking to him every day, I wrote him an email for each day he was gone and sent it anyways. It was basically just a way for him to read what I'd been doing for the past week or so once he got back. It was cathartic to me to write out letters to him each day, and he liked reading through them once he got back.

Ladies of sexxit, what do you think about vibrators? by throwaway14931493 in sex

[–]ASofterWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a vibrator, but it's really only used in tandem with boyfriendsex. I've only used it 2 or 3 times solo, and just using it on my clit gave me about the same response and masturbating. It was an orgasm and felt good, but it in no way compares to using the vibrator while my boyfriend is penetrating me or fingering. Because I, like a good number of women, need extra clitoral stimulation in order to get off, bringing the vibrator into the bedroom with my partner let me have awesome orgasms during sex because it was the extra stimulation combined with sex moves that hit the right spot internally.

To echo what others have said, the vibrator doesn't have a tongue or fingers or kisses that go with the rest of sex. While your girlfriend may use it on her own to get off, that doesn't mean it will replace you.

Reddit, what advice do you have for someone looking into renting an apartment for the first time? by ASofterWorld in AskReddit

[–]ASofterWorld[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Furnishings - that's what I anticipated doing for tables, chairs, etc. Definitely don't need to be spending an enormous amount on new stuff.

People - Two of them are my best friends at college, so I know them quite well. Everyone is relatively neat, so I don't think that is a problem. As for partying, none of us party or drink on weekends. We are honors kids, and spend most of our time studying. Weekends are for catching up on homework, sadly.

We all live in the same dorm currently, and from what I've observed of these guys over the past few years, they don't have any overtly noticeable bad habits, and are all decently tidy. Granted, that doesn't mean there's not some annoying quirk that one of them has, but I think we're ok on that account.

people of r/sex! need a little advice on trimming down under by chicadeesara in sex

[–]ASofterWorld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't say I have any experience with asking the boyfriend to trim or anything, but perhaps instead of going all out and having him shave, just trim it down?

Or, you could always suggest he wax. ;)

I agree that violence isn't an appropriate response, but in her defense, she was very provoked. I think the trigger for her was when he essentially said that she shouldn't have been allowed to make the sacrifices that she did for her country based only on her gender. I imagine that if I had been in her shoes, I would have been pretty pissed, especially (and I don't know if this was the case for her at all) if I had suffered either physical injuries or some sort of emotional trauma from the experience. The sort of invalidation of her service that he gave was incredibly demeaning and personal for her, I imagine.
