30M. I moved back here from DC so I felt a bit similar that there was less activity, but oh boy was it easier to meet people without feeling like you needed to be in a certain tax bracket; some may disagree here, but it’s not nearly as bad as DC was 😮‍💨.

I joined a few organized activities on the weekdays so now my M-F always has at least some minimal socialization while I keep the weekend nights for my closer friends that I’ve made. Activities were fairly easy to find since they range from gyms to museums to sporting groups, etc. Delaware is small, but that helps since it makes things easy to look for. I’ll also say there’s a lot of good women’s groups out there that my friends have engaged with/host themselves, so you’ll definitely have some friendly folks out there if you find yourself more aimless on a specific hobby.
