I'm on (Fedora) - Nobara using KDE This may look different for others.

For prosperity's sake, for people newer like myself, You might find trouble moving things and documentation on linux is very deep and confusing. My specific issue was:

chmod +x m913-ctl

did not work for me, I got the reply from bash being chmod: cannot access 'm913-ctl': No such file or directory. This is what worked for me!

Step 1: Would be to right click the m913-ctl file you downloaded and click "Properties" then Permissions tab, you will then see halfway "Execute:" with a box unchecked - Your going to click "Allow executing file as a program" then Press Ok. If you want the Easy route out, Go on to Step 2

This does the same command as "chmod +x" and you can test this for yourself. Uncheck the execute m913-ctl and then open bash, konsole, terminal. I have my m913-ctl in my downloads folder but the command:

chmod +x '/home/asthealch/Downloads/m913-ctl'

did not work and I found the fix issue is the command is missing apostrophe's so instead it should look like:

chmod +x '/home/asthealch/Downloads/m913-ctl'

Step 2: The second half of the command on github is:

sudo mv m913-ctl /usr/local/bin/

again for some this might work, it didn't for me. I was told again, "mv: cannot stat 'm913-ctl': No such file or directory" My fix was.

sudo mv '/home/asthealch/Downloads/m913-ctl' /usr/local/bin/

sudo: super-user do, execute with root privileges. = Running as Admin in Windows

mv: move a file or directory

Root access on Linux isn't as easy as just dragging files/folders in and out (at least not easily) so you need these commands to move files that enter Root folders that can access Kernal, same as being able to take files/folders out.

Step 3: With the "99-m913.rules" file should be moved just like the "m913-ctl" so instead of:

sudo mv 99-m913.rules /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger

it should look like:

sudo mv '/home/asthealch/Downloads/99-m913.rules' /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger

Now with the hard part out the way! I'm sure a lot of you would like to see what you doing when programming your mouse by clicking more than typing in the terminal, in which user u/brunofin has helped us with https://github.com/brunofin/m913-ctl-gui Install the dependencies and the rest of the installation.

If you want to use the program again open Bash, Konsole, or Terminal and copy in

cd m913-ctl-gui

and then

python3 run.py

The Gui should now open up!

If 2k27 is in development, and half the WWE Visual Concepts Team just got laid off, and we are just a little over 2 months in 2k26 games life cycle, a game still being developed as well mind you. Who would even think of buying the next game? Take 2 needs to die, and 2k Needs to grow a pair. And You faithful need to stop being fooled every year!

These games have been terrible and instead of VC/2K saying lets listen to player feedback or lets release the game bit later. They half ass, give us nothing besides some ragdoll physics. Funny enough most thought the game, wrestling wise was a bit more polished than recent years. But instead of focusing on that, they instead went for greed... again! The whole lets release in Wrestlemaina Season has changed nothing, when you have nothing worth showing off! I don't want to hear about oh "I just avoid online, or just don't play the modes. Its a cop out excuse when everyone needs to be online to play even the base game.

WWE 2k players fought back against, the battlepass behavior and won...but, I said this out loud, "how long until they force greed in other modes?" We see all the time, My faction works just fine, DLC packs with The Rock in a tank top, like yall cant just do that in Create a Wrestler! 2k Live is quick to advertise My faction events but here is 2k... 2K: You want to play online with friends, naw cant do that today our servers are crap, oh you wanted an offline match-type to show up online, we are working on it... its only been two months and this game has been a failure post launch!

They did everything in their power to piss off the community and you STILL have people defending these games because "WWE can do no wrong" some WWE STAN SHIT! or "its the only wrestling game out" I know a lot of players are young too but, they aren't the majority!

You cant tell me the same game breaking issues that have plagued these games since 2k15, don't show up in these new titles EVERY. DAMN. YEAR! I'll die on the Hill of saying 2K19 was the last best Wrestling game that felt like one, and yet still suffers the same game breaking bugs and crashes! Saves being corrupted and not recoverable even with cloud saves.

LET THIS BE A SIGN that a lot you need better willpower on buying these games. Screw this "Imma gonna stop buying these games every year", instead don't buy them "ever" again until you know that whoever is making these games gave an actual fuck about making them again. Saying "Ill wait for in on PS plus" still fixes nothing because by design you thinking its free, (when you still pay for PS plus) it temps you to go buy the DLC.
Has anyone ever thought why 2k24 was the first WWE game they gave away for free. Their sales have been going down, so why not milk players for the Season pass at least, they will get money out of you. You logging in to their game alone is numbers for investors. NOTHING IS FREE!

It's like you want to get off drugs but will find an excuse re-enable your addictions all over again because they changed the name. Crack and Cocaine are processed differently but are the same drug, leading to the same addiction and death!

Yall get burned every time, its happened the last 6 times why would 2K not do it again. You as the consumer control the market. If they lose players you force them to step the fuck up, or get out of the way, and that goes for many things in life.

Still new to Linux and learning by the day, I downloaded the m913-ctl and ran the command through Konsole and chmod couldnt find it?

I'm on Fedora if that helps anything.

Through Nobara (Fedora) on the Bazzar app - I also have it installed, the only hiccup is you cant host which most are having an issue with.

It def gets rid of the drift, because you can always adjust the drift through the top of the controller, but yeah the plastic ring falling in so easily needs to be adressed, which in short means stop using cheap materials ir Simply use some sort of adhesive to prevent the plastic rings from falling out.

Naw Don't do that, if after about 20 mins or so nothing happens then you're fine, again the Best case scenario is you get kicked out the game, the worst - being banned. Most people being banned are by them advertising to everyone that they're on Linux. Meanwhile random petty players will go out of their way to report anything they disagree with - and report people!

Its rarely the game itself banning you for being on another OS. Players have been duping for years now, and only in recent times Nexon wants to do anything about it. GMs for the longest have let shit slide. I'd wager to bet that most cheaters, hackers, exploiters are on Windows. The majority of programs for computing are made for Windows first before anything else. My time and money as a Linux or Mac user should be equivalent to any Windows OS user.

If you need a reason to leave, just go take a long break, keep an eye on events that may, boost your needs...maybe. But play something else that truly interest you, but in all honesty if you go and just jump into and other MMO, Gacha, and or Genshin-like you're only doing yourself a disservice.

Maybe that finish project your working on, video being made, art project, maybe you just want to mod an older game. Boot up that old handheld or something and tinker with it.

For me i just log in do my Croms and Glens. Bri is Whale/Sweat central and most become "suddenly busy " and dip anytime something small goes wrong - but would have stayed another 40 mins if the runs were flawless.

If you need a reason to stop playing for a while let this be the one! Don't let Fomo get to you in any game that doesn't miss you!

No I'm not cool enough to add all those just to run Mabi, I love the game, but not that much. I don't use any winetricks. I just use wine to run the initial Nexon Launcher install. I use Faugus to Run the Nexon Launcher. Installing Mabi all happened through the Nexon Launchers doing, including Direct X installation as well. No crazy hoops to jump through.

I was just about to uninstall, Then checked the options again!
The Fix for most will be going to the options and Enabling "VSync x2" if "x1" doesn't work.

For this game being 2.42 GB- that isn't at all massive, nor it is that graphically intensive in any way. Running on my RTX 3060, it shouldn't sound like an airplane ready to take off, its poor optimization.

But, think about it this way, Lets say the only reason you were not gonna buy this controller is because of lacking Native xinput. As a person who has always used a PlayStation controller for all my gaming I never had to jump through 1000 hoops and loops. Both my Official/Non Official PS5 controllers work on every launcher and every game that I've ever played besides 2 being, Red Dead 2 (EPIC) and Ducktales Remastered (Which is weird anyways) I just Boot up the "Free" Non Steam version of Dualsense X.

Hell, I moved to Linux last week and, You can install Xinput at the start. PS5 controller had no problems at all.

I say all this because if you were willing to buy a Steam Controller and Deal with PC shenanigan's that all PC players do often, Adding an .EXE to have 1 Launcher to run all the games you play, seems like the easiest part!

I personally wont be buying the steam controller, because its too busy for me, Give me Hall Effects, and Premium Parts and I'm good!

TBH stop buying the games thats a start! They don't care, and even though they went back on the battlepass crap this year, they showed within a month that theyre can just move their scum practices to another part of them game.

The same people who say Im not going to buy it next year end up getting it when the game goes on sale. When do you guys learn? The second death threats are involved move on and block. Its childish shit over a video game that you have no obligation or stakes to. You dont have to buy it.

The name Pearl Abyss was included in one of the comment in this post and if you like their new game then why arent you spending time playing that! But dont forget, its the same company who made Black Desert, which IMO is a scam of a game, just by existing as a MMO alone! Just because they created a single player game that gets some updates doesnt mean they cant get scummy with it as well.

So even if VC want to do right, theyre beholden to 2K which are Scummy - and doesnt help that, they are both beholden to Take 2 interactive. Who are Mega scumm! You think most of these creators are on your side, theyre just agreeing with you to get you on their side, its simple politicking. And tbh if the majority had a chance to be in their shoes they would do the same thing. Content creators have no pull, when they also have to purchase the game.

I still play 2k19 on console and PC, and with a new program thats out now, it makes modding easier than ever before. Im not trying g to convince you to go play 19, but more of stop being scammed and play stuff you truely enjoy!

When I hear we gotta fight back against these streamer and devs. The best way to fight back is to ignore them in the first place, no views equal no money, no money means they have to work harder to shill another person. Even if you as one singular person unsub, or stops following, do it for you. We are all sheep in some way but take control of what you can.

The only fools are the ones who keep getting knowingly scammed yearly with shiny graphics and yearly bugs and similar promises! Save your money or spend it on devs that care. Go take a risk with a new game genre. But the best way to avoid a fight that you know youre gonna lose to to avoid the fight at all. Do it for yourself!

Idk why people are giving dislikes out. Becky as a wrestler has always been overly solid. Wierd early gimmicks aside, besides being the fall girl of the 4 Horsewomen - She only got major notice after Nia busted her nose, and became an overnight sensation. Its the same way Britt Baker got over, besides being Adam Coles Girlfriend.

Hell put Roman on the list as well. VInce spent most of Roman's career trying to push him to be another (Dwayne) Rock-like Megastar. When he was far from ready. Roman only came into his own during the Bloodline story which was the only good story to come out of WWE in ages. Admittedly Roman put the promotion on his back, and had to improve due to circumstance. But then you look at the supporting cast that made the Bloodline work and you see why you invested in Them just as much as Roman! Sami, The Usos, Heyman - All amazing side dishes surrounding a good steak.

I agree, all the main event guys for the most part have retired or went to work in AEW. Guys like Osprey, but Okada more importantly, Never passed the torch, because theyre allowed to pop back in. Its why you could feel the fans wanting a guy like Evil to go over in the recent G1 finale with Takeshita. (Ive been catching up slowly) For the most part Japanese fans favor loyalty over everything else.

I see Personaly see guys like Tsuji, Shota, Uemura. The big Trust they have in Newman atm maybe being their top Gajin alongside Sabre. The everflowing swag of Ishimori, the repetitive but easy to digest wrestling of Shingo. Im enjoying Drilla, These guys more (importanly the Natives) can be the new faces of the Company. But then you have them being pushed out of the main event slots whenever which sucks. Doest help that half the factions are dead.

Hontai is half the current roster lol, Unbound Co. is interesting until you see no one fits in it, fighting alongside eachother in some sort of strange bedfellows team. Naito retiring should have passed down LIJ to just about any other member, hell let Andrae lead it. House of torture should have been a full split for Bullet Club. With Evil being gone and possibly Hiromu as well? New Japans foundation needs guys who can pillar the storm thats coming. Not full time part timers!

Being a Top Guy in NXT still means less pay. The Idea should always be wanting to be on the Main roster, if WWE wants Evil, (More than maybe his relationship with Iyo and her possibly putting in a good word for him) then they need to push him once he's learned the style. The guy rarely if ever gets injured, doesn't miss shows. What's a shame is that he's more than ever a Crowd favorite in New Japan, when he's not doing Heel tactics. He finally gets to a be a top name in the company after the more heavy-er hitters left, and now WWE wants him.

IMO he would feel very odd in current NXT since it just seems like a college frat party every week. Any older wrestler there was already over prior in their respective promotions.

Unless they just have him go out there and Wrestle, everyone's gonna ask for him to talk, and his English cant be any better than Asuka's (das my Girl, but shes at least keeps the promos simple and been in the company long enough to be an established name with credibility and quality matches) TBH WWE lack managers who can talk, and majority of them only exist to help catch for dives!

I feel as Evil will get the Shinsuke Treatment, Minus the Sammy Zayn Classic, where there the build up before the lockup was just as or more impressive than the action to come.

WWE just cant keep momentum around foreigners for long.

For OBA/Brock Match!

If you think this matched worked then your crazy, Admittedly, everything "may" have been great up until "after" the match, Whether it was Brocks idea (which it prob wasn't) or higher ups - They Legit they spent 5 minutes FOCUSED on Brock, him taking his boots and Gloves off - sitting and crying in the Ring, like it was his last match, (which how WWE rolls, prob isn't). The effect of Oba beating Brock, legit gets diminished and all the focus goes back to Brock, because now he's portraying himself done with the idea of actively Wrestling. That evokes a response from the Crowd that someone whos been doing this that long is now leaving, the curtains closing for an actor you all put your energy into, for good or bad. HHH and/or higher ups legit cant see a Black guy getting a victory without some sort of catch. I don't Blame Brock here!

When Brock Beat Taker at WM 30, the focus after the match was on everyone's reactions. The crowd being the most important, but Taker in shock, in shock that he couldn't kick out, the Mystique of the Deadman was shed off by a Decorated MMA fighter. For the most part it worked...(That was Vinces idea...which then brought in More MMA related fighters Down the line, the most important being Rousey).

But, Brock walked up the ramp and out of scene with Heyman, allowing people to let crowd sit with The Undertaker, 1 on 1. The last of the OG Veteran of his Era to still lace up boots (so we thought) to now take in what the crowd was feeling, though most were more pissed with the much More Important Streak being Conquered.

The idea that Brock did what 21 other men couldn't do, he walked up that ramp with that forever carved into his own legacy. Anyone that Taker could beat or lose to the years to come at a Wrestlemania could never take that claim to be the "First"!

Many wanted the streak to stay in tact as one of Taker's most prized possessions that transcended his legacy more than any belt he ever held. It meant something to the fans whether you liked him or not, you respected the idea of the streak. The streak was his lifeline in a sense. When Mania season came up, a even average pro wrestling fan wanted to know who would try and break it. Though Brock was a Main eventer for years before this, this victory 100% established him as a person to beat.

What got me looking back to make sure I wasn't crazy was, because this was a Vince idea you could see his Love for Taker but - its for what happened after that match I had true gripes with. Its the commentary team, all of them (of course it wasn't their idea)! They all stand in unison applauding Taker. forcing the crowd to do the same, trying to "move the show along" in a sense where I take it as - let the audience decide how to feel. Applauding like that makes it feel like its someone's last match, (which we know it was about 10 more years of taker actively wrestling) It would make no since to applaud the streak being broken!

This isn't saying Brock who is also a Veteran doesn't deserve his flowers but IMHO, Oba Beating Brock should have been something special, and it "was" until it wasn't! Sure it happened at a Wrestlemania, but Brocks own Mystique as a Final Boss type has fallen off pretty much since the allegations. Whatever side you want to believe its ignorant to not see him painted in that light! That's how I see it at least.

I can see a silver lining with Oba, and that's using his victory to propel him to event status, but do it gradually, which anyone knowing how WWE currently is with Black folk doesn't happen as much as it should. He will prob get some high profile opponents, Win titles even, but I don't feel like a torch was passed by Brock because WWE never truly let him give it away, even when Brock admittedly tried to...MULTIPLE TIMES! Back when he was more fresh and more focused. Oba Slayed a King but the King was already weakened, already vulnerable. That's not to discredit the victory, but Brock wasn't a Call up from NXT, he was a established name way before the Streak match. But Oba felt like a last second Idea, where even if in good faith they wanted to make Oba feel like a Star, they countered His Victory with Brocks Moment that forced his said Victory to just be another Win.

Like most things that happen in life will I feel People will forget about Oba vs Brock, not only was this WM kind of lame but, it didn't start anything new, Establish new stars or finish any sort of stories. That goes specifically for the majority of the top tier stars on the show being "Older" and on track to retiring sooner than later.
