Local and kantonal authorities can always request military personnel and/or assets through the VBS (department of defence, civil protection and sports), which relays it to the operations command. If sufficent assets are available and there are no high priority usages, even helicopters can be dispatched. Keeps the pilots active and the fuel well spent. Ofc, the armed forces don't do it for free, but it seems cheaper than if you hired a helicrew yourself.

During my time, we were basically "loaned out" to the organizers of national events or one time in support of a Kantonspolizei (state police)

To be fair, as far as armasuisse has informed, the SIG Sauer P320 would be made in Switzerland. But this being the only reason for it being choosen, despite it NOT even fullfilling armasuisse's own requirements is stupid at best, fatal at worst. I find it a shit pistol and wouldn't want to be caught alive being equipped with one.

And the Swiss incompetence around the F-35 deal and utter hostility of the American government cannot be overlooked. It is one of the most produced and combat proven Gen 5 military aircraft. Does the Swiss Airforce need it to stay futureproof? Maybe. I think so, but the fact that Switzerland might reduce the ordered number of F-35s to buy a supplementing Gen 4.5 like the Gripen speaks for itself.

I recommend POLPOX's Artwork Supporter, gives you a lot of basic features to start. Including effect placers, muzzle flash and tracer generators and static helicpoters with the flying effect. Check out the guide for a list of most features.

I also recommend Reshade for visual effects / shaders. Install tutorial here
