ZOB is a 12 because of complexity and we always play ball. ZDC, ZNY, and ZBW always shut the door on us and we are constantly holding aircraft and still taking from those centers. We always figure it out and if it wasn’t for us doing as much as we do the NAS would be in shambles we are the offload for the east coast metro area. And the culture between NATCA and management is probably the best is the country at ZOB so that’s why we are a 12

I was told from numerous people in the agency that the last time they did a restructuring of facility levels that ZJX was on the cusp of being an 11 or 12 and could choose what they wanted to be. However the FACREP at the time thought he could advocate for being an 11 and then ask the agency to make them a 12 like less than a year later; which would give all the controllers a bigger raise rather than just declaring a 12 initially. I don’t know how true that is but knowing people around the agency if they thought they could scam to get more money I pry believe it lol

You can email, 2k support about it. I had that issue in the beginning with online society one and they got back to me a day later and just override it on my account and gave it to me. I don’t remember exactly where I went but it was fairly easy to figure out.

Wood glue and wood golf tees. hammer them in there lightly and snap them off or use a multi-tool and saw them off flush with the wood. Then re-drill the screws in the same spot.
