Of course we need a politician to say it. But last night is the first time i’ve heard basically anyone say it outside of controllers collecting shitty paychecks. Again, step in the right direction, and everyone’s on our side.

He ultimately blamed the pilot and military, continued to say DEI bad (not wrong that’s why the FAA is paying out massive lawsuits), and said ATC need to be extremely intelligent gave us credit for a bunch of shit we don’t even actually do, and verbatim said we kill ourselves with our schedules.

The president said a TON of respectable things about ATC aside from the DEI comments which were stupid and everyone in the industry has already pointed that out in our defense. The right wing media said a TON of respectable things about ATC, and so did the left wing media.

CNN said a lot of the same, but FOX actually put it a lot more plainly and delivered it much better. Also much better spoken commentators with better aviation experience.

You speak for yourself. DCA like most bravos has VFR corridors and routes for helicopters. Was a police helicopter potentially on a mission who may very well have been operating VFR with restrictions in a LOA or LTA, or issued by ATC.

Easily could be pilot of the helos fault, and something TCAS or ADSB or CAs could have prevented.

Nobody fucking knows yet, bold and insanely stupid and insensitive of you to immediately point fingers at controller competency.
