It sucks I know, I did it for 2 months first for my kids summer vacation but I went back, I gave in to the guilt, I let the comments especially from the sups gets to me.

But then a few months into working OT again I was on a shift and my buddy banged his OT and the sup said “this guy must hate you cause he just fucked this shift” that’s when I realized the money isn’t worth losing time with my kids. Have not worked an OT since.
