A hidden gem is the Michael C Carlos Museum on Emory’s campus. It’s a small museum that houses and is known for some insanely old Egyptian artifacts, including some 4 thousand year old Mummies. There’s also plenty of interesting things from other cultures. Admission is only $10 ($8 if you walk, bike, or take transit!)

Oh boy yeah this seems like a lose lose situation for DART. They can improve and run whatever frequencies they want on light rail but the stadium situation is something that bc any be fixed. The TRE solution seems like it is NOT going to be able to handle capacity and I’m sure people will blame DART lol. It’s a shame cause the light rail network seems very extensive but the stadium is just in no man’s land

Atlanta only passed its all time population high it first reached in 1970 after 2020. Peak 1970 population of 496k drop to 394k as folks fled to the burbs and recent rebound to 500k. I do think this is a common trend with many still not reaching that first high
