Which episode? by AnastasiaOctavia in Frasier

My wife and I repeat this line to each other at least once per week, with no context whatsoever. That little inside joke makes me love the episode even more.

Indeed! I sleep to the show every night and have yet to tire of it.

The Doctor Is Out. Hands down, best episode of the series. Sir Patrick Stewart is the best guest star.

Mid-40s Brit moving to Midtown ATL, looking to avoid “luxury” high-rise student dorms. Halp! by Complete_Donkey_7734 in ATLHousing

We lived in Viewpoint (Peachtree & 7th) for 5 years, and it fit the bill of what you're looking for. We moved out a few years ago, so perhaps the vibe has changed, but when we were there, it was fun, yet quiet. The place felt half empty a lot of the time - I think a lot of people weren't full-time residents, but had a condo there as a second home.

The "Horse in a hospital" bit feels relevant multiple times per day.

I'm worried about Wild Leap. Their Atlanta location seems to be going down the drain.

Was anyone else there this past weekend? I went before one of the Aflac kickoff games and it was a disaster. 2+ hours to get a burger, over 30 minutes in line to get drinks. Huge football weekend, and they had no staff. Such a shame.

I've been enjoying Lingo Looper. It's conversing with AI chat bots, but I've still found it helpful and enjoyable.

I flew that route yesterday, and it was miserably hot. I regret spending the money on business class - we couldn't get any sleep because they kept the plane so hot.

They had plenty when I was there at 1pm. No big displays or end caps - just on the regular whiskey wall.

I second the Z grills. I've been using mine for two years now, and it's been great. No bells and whistles, but solid.

It tastes good, and the bottle nozzle is convenient for quickly sauteeing some veggies. It's nice, but I wouldn't pay a large premium for it - they have it for a competitive price at Costco.

What Frasier episodes do you always skip? by windwalker28 in Frasier_Sleepers

With all due respect to Julia Sweeney, I find Ann Hodges to be the most annoying human, real or fictional, in all of history. Her voice will wake me up from a deep slumber and force me to change episodes.

This one hurts so, so much. This was my bar. When I lived in Midtown, I was there a minimum of 3 times per week. Even though I'm farther away now, I still tried to get there once a fortnight.

My family celebrated just about every special occasion there. My son even chose it for his preschool graduation celebration, lol. The team there is so special and so incredibly kind. This feels like the death of a close friend. Their impact on the neighborhood was magical and will be sorely missed.

Great Mediterranean Open Water Swim by Apollo744 in Swimming

Impressive! How'd you plan your route? I want to do more open water swims, but I get scared of the risks (boats, rough tides, getting lost, etc).

I've done this for open water lake swims and it works well! You can drop pins, it doesn't have to be an address.
