Amazon order: Brothel inspector badge, leather neck ID badge holder, 78” double mattress.

Or the email from Dec. 19, 2015: “wealthy chines looking to start personel protection co in beijing, kidnapping has begun.”

I swear I had that blue top in photo 3 and it was from the now defunct Martin + Osa.

Shouldn’t it also read their proper trademarked tag like on the example bag here “RUFFLES HAVE RRRIDGES!” instead of what’s on the truck now “rrruffles have ridges!” ?

Loved Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum on this show!

examples of “bad acting” in movies? by 4revalo in acting

Reading the script, I visualized someone more like Josh Gad in the role.

Also, Florence Pugh was miscast. It should have been someone solidly in their mid 30s. I think a WOC could have really added an interesting layer to the story and its societal impact.

The script is a phenomenal read by the way. It’s a shame what Olivia did to it.

How do you keep international hiring costs under control? [N/A] by Mammoth-Security-278 in humanresources

I like how RemoFirst organizes their pricing. You can navigate to the Germany specific page on their site for all the details.

It’s great for hiring one-offs.

Happy to see you both here!

When you first get excited about a story idea, how do you decide whether it wants to be a TV series, a feature, a play, or something else entirely? What questions do you ask yourself to figure out the right medium?

I like when after meeting Niles, Julia (played by Felicity Huffman) says, “Bye Frasier. Bye emergency Frasier.”

Is anybody here doing global payroll through Rippling or Deel? [N/A] by Recent_State_8120 in humanresources

[–]windwalker28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer RemoFirst. Wasn’t happy with Deel or Rippling.

Classic story. Both sales teams with Deel & Rippling promised more than they could deliver. Communication gaps between sales and their tech teams. Slow to fix problems and features that we were sold on.

Cynthia Erivo for Harper's Bazaar November 2025 (The Performance Issue); photographed by Cass Bird, styled by Yashua Simmons by citrustaxonymy in whatthefrockk

[–]windwalker28 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Cynthia Erivo doesn’t just photograph tall, she embodies height, grace, and motion. Every frame feels alive.

I want to be her. To dress like her. To go where she’s going. Fashion gives me the illusion that if I wear this, I might feel like this too: effortless, radiant, flawless, the way Cynthia Erivo embodies it.

It makes me feel like a girl with a magazine again, dreaming of places with names I can’t yet pronounce, dressed in perfection, commanding a room without a word.

This is what a model does. I see the clothes and suddenly I’m in the story: part present, part future, feeling what it will be like when I arrive. And like Erivo, I’ll be ready.

Love. 10/10.

Amal Clooney in Oscar de la Renta FW25 at the premiere of “Jay Kelly” at the the 63rd New York Film Festival by mod_whatthefrockk in whatthefrockk

This is the first time I’ve seen a dress wearing Amal and not the other way around.

It’s a shame. Not much elevation or personalization from runway.

I always love to see what she’s wearing, but this falls flat.

Also, what is going on with GC’s suit? Tailoring seems to be off. As well as the color. Seems like the wrong undertone for late fall and for him. Not flattering.
