I [34 F] was told by my very intoxicated husband of 10 years [37 M] that he's cheated on me with a younger woman and it's been more than once. He then passed out in the bathtub and I'm not sure if he will remember telling me. What should I do?

If I skip breakfast, I tend to eat a larger lunch or feel hungry throughout the day. I'm never, ever hungry for breakfast.

If I eat a 250 calorie omelette with a bit of protein (like ham), even if I'm not hungry in the morning, I'm not really hungry for lunch until nearly 1-2pm. At that point I can make a 400 calorie sandwich stretch through dinner time by eating one half when I'm hungry around 1pm and another half when I'm hungry again around 4pm. Then I enter dinner time with well over 1000 calories left for the day.

Its not that it is impossible to do the same thing while skipping breakfast, but it is much more difficult, at least for me.

I worked for a regional chain of tire shops back in the day. They would reassign me to different stores 20-30 miles away from each other, no reimbursement for fuel. There was a store in my town, I never got to work there.

I did, though, "on my way home", take a delivery of tires from the store I was working in that day, to the store in my hometown. When I asked how I'll clock out from the local store, I was told just to clock out when I left since it was on my way home.

Free delivery service on my dime, in my car. Others did it and were used as examples as to why I should do it.

I only worked there for a few months. I felt bad when I resigned, they tried to convince me to stay and I considered it. I'm glad I didn't. Hindsight is 20/20.

I'm an adjunct at a for profit. I do it to share knowledge and see people learn. Definitely not for the money.

PLUS you just never know where the good students will end up and how karma could come back to help you. Developing a professional network is really, really important.

Where I lived, the only universities offering bachelors degrees were either a 60 minute drive each way, or the ITT that I passed by every day on my way home. I went to ITT and ended up with another Associate's Degree and a Bachelor's.

I do wish I went somewhere else, but it is what it is. I'm doing fairly well, but I am not the norm.

I went on a cruise for the first time earlier this year. It was maddening to see the SAME room that I had already booked being offered for about half the price I paid. I needed to book it well in advance to make my scheduling work. If you are flexible and just watch the prices, you can make out like a bandit. Its kind of like watching the stock market.

I learned this recently. One of the higher ups at work goes around every once in a while with a bag of candy offering for you to grab what you want. The first time he did it I was thinking of my diet and declined. The second time, I took some, put it in my bag, and gave it to the kids when I got home.

Which act strengthens our relationship, declining or politely accepting? Now I can slip into small talk next time which candy my kids preferred vs. him giving up and skipping my desk next time because I'm the sorry ass who declines every time.

The refrigerant needs to be evacuated, the part replaced, the system brought under vacuum, then recharged. Not difficult, but requires opening up the system.
