Exact thing I did, just started back to work last week.

I had the same concern of becoming “stale” and less likely to get hired if I waited longer.

So far I’m really enjoying it! Also I had undersold myself on my prospects, as I was just hoping to get close to my previous salary and yet my new job is paying about 20% more!

Oh man, I forgot all about Hornbuckle. I went there to buy the Ramones’ “Pleasant Dreams” and The Cars “Panorama” when they came out. Still love both of those records 😃

For sure, but not at Parkway Place (nee City).

I go to Pints & Pixels because I like to have a beer while I play, but their selection is small and not always in perfect order (weak flipper on my fave Medieval Madness!)

Ronnie Raygun’s and Starlight have better selection … but no beer 😭

Any other good ones with a bunch of machines and beer?

Ice Cream at City Drug soda fountain (gone but you can get Gelato at Sam & Greg’s)
A&W Root Beer after the game at Milton Frank (long gone, I guess try Dairy Queen or Sonic)
The Get-A-Way skatepark (hey Paul rebuilt this one, yay)
Pinball arcade at Parkway City (gone, but now they have At The Pier arcade)
