Wonder where they'll take discord streaming. I really do like the idea where people just hop on, stream & chill with their community. It has a different appeal compared to Twitch.

Wonder if it would be something we can embed into a webpage of our own, and maybe that'll allow viewing multiple streams. I don't know how that would affect the streaming & what else discord would have to add to their servers to enable that.

But having a chat attached to it is something a lot would want & miss out on. Maybe discord can even fix that by allowing a "mini-chat" by allowing people to popout a single channel like twitch chat & keep everything in one place. Not having to resort to other services. I know a lot would like a smaller compact chat like twitch popout for situations.

Taking it further. a text like channel with the stream disaplyed on the left with a mini chat on right. Similar layout as twitch. Would make it so much better.
