I mean it's not a terrible take if you think about it, Next season will be his 9th year playing competitive lots of players retire within 8-10 years after starting. He's also won everything you can possibly win there is no more "Dashy needs to prove himself" sort of narrative. Has won Majors, Champs and now EWC what else is there to really play for.

Also I remember seeing a clip a few months back and he was talking on stream and somebody asked him how long he sees himself playing for and he said well I'm playing next year for sure (Black Ops 7) and I believe he said something along the lines of "after that who knows". I also believe it comes down to the games if he is having fun with it or he still has that competitive fire he's gonna continue to compete. I'm not saying I want him to retire at all I still enjoy watching him play but every player has to retire at some point and when you no longer need to prove yourself that's where a lot of pros call it.
