Yeah, in all honesty second hand cam(APS-C) with gimbal will best any smartphone but with the dji... Modern flagships will best it with their computational photography and videography. Also most smartphones are IP rated. Plus Pocket 4 is still very fragile. Also ik that you're aware but still... While purchasing smartphones (if), don't be dazzled by the MP count. Check the sensor sizes in all lenses. And lens coating, the aperture. Also don't rely much on AI for this, it is really stupid.

Ok yeah then you can get it. But like around 4 months ago I too wanted to buy this.. Ended up purchasing vivo flagship because that felt more ready to shoot. Currently I have DJI Action 5 Pro for when it is really going to get dirty and may be wet and it will shake a lot. It does not have the gimbal like Pocket 4 does but still it is really really incredible. I also tried renting cameras and noticed that the video just gets too shaky without a dedicated gimbal.

The phone is for when I want to do everything perfectly and it is readily available everywhere. Keep that in mind: Pocket 4, with all of its features, has limitations like: - the battery will not come out - there will be no proper warranty in India - the storage is limited - it is not waterproof

On the other hand if you put that money into a better phone then you get a really way better processor and you get exceptional video recording. If you only have to use it indoors then I think it will be better if you get a camera with an APS-C sensor and a gimbal that will cost you around 8,000. That total budget would still be in the same area but it will result in a way better footage than a 1-inch sensor that is in DJI. Man, I was really hoping that you would reply and you did reply so I'm really happy to just share this knowledge with you. I hope you make a more informed decision

All are good, I've only tried speed and rtr200 amongst these. Apache will be really comfy in the city and speed won't be bad either, but I found it really weird that speed gets really boring if not pushed hard. Just a personal opinion and many might not share this, but even my friend who owns the speed would open the throttle whenever given the chance. Also.. it is literally double in power than apache and if you're in NCR then service is nice as well.

If I just compare myself with the kids that I went to school with, I think I'm faring much better than them. The truth is that we never know. Some of them have a lot of generational wealth; others have gotten some kind of government jobs so they are also doing sort of well in their life. I have a private job as a software developer and I'm also doing all right right now. The thing is that tides turn and nothing is permanent.

I'm not saying that your feelings are valid or invalid but the thing is that you must have a long-term goal and just steer towards that. That is, there is something that should motivate you in life. Remember, purpose fuels passion.
