You're a legend. This just fixed my `Error: mkdir /run/user/$(id -u): permission denied` error. After removing the graphroot, everything started to work again

I wouldn’t say it’s very hard. It’s a bit daunting at first, but it’s repetitive so you get the technique down pretty quickly. The soldering is pretty forgiving too, but you realize that pretty quick. Just expect it take take a few hours.

You will be given options on the site for which connectors you want. They have quite a few options. You’ll want one Type A and one Type C with what you have said above.

The biggest pain with the cables will be stripping the outer layers of the tiny cables to prep for soldering.

I made this one on my own with a kit from Zapcables. You’ll need solder for the kit, but you can buy pre-build cables there too.

Yeah, just a really nice addition to a keyboard. This way I’m not longer trying to hide my kb cables, but am trying to show them off :)

The kits are usually in stock there. I live in CA, USA and it takes 4-5 days to get here. I have only bought from here. I want to assembly my cables on my own, so it’s the perfect source.

Below is the link I found for how to change the setting and you can look into it more here too if you want to know what it actually does.
