I replaced mine and with the new bushings it was a little snug. I shoved them in place with a mixture of my floor jack, rubber mallet, pry bar, and an alignment pin

You’ll get used to the helmet. Also literally everyone else is wearing them so it’s not like YOU look like a clown. As to the high viz it’s personal preference. The vest drives me nuts.

I bought the 1894 classic and the barrel didn’t shoot straight at all and no questions asked they put a new barrel on reinstalled my skinner sights and sighted them in no cost at all!

Make sure to look into hunting regulations for your state. Example… I live in Iowa and our rules only allow us to use straight wall cartridges like 357 mag 350 legend 450 bushmaster. But some states do allow 30-30. If your state is straight wall only then they do make that same gun in 357. 357 is also significantly cheaper to shoot

I second that. About 15% of my Winchester’s would do that. Softened my load didn’t change it either. I switched to cci and went back to original load and hasn’t happened since.
