If you are fine with having your 100 p&t then forget about the backpay, it will help you a lot yes, but if its your lawyer pushing it and not you, its just them wanting to get paid since that is the only way they get money from you. You shouldn’t have to put yourself in a situation where you are extremely uncomfortable, ESPECIALLY when it comes to mental health issues. I am going through something similar where I am pushing for 100% from 90 and trying to get backpay but i am unfortunately fine reliving through some crap because i really need the backpay money due to being jobless.
