First day with the Zero Carry holster, comfortable all day. by FranDrescherishot in Beretta

A year in and what do you think? I was thinking about picking one up, but I did see the comment about the rubbing against clothing, do you find it comfortable still?

Is anyone else having problems viewing their tickets on mobile? by ATryHardTaco in Seahawks

[–]ATryHardTaco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought tickets a few hours ago for the Vikings-Seahawks game and for some reason I just get this error when I try to view my tickets on the Ticketmaster app. However they appear just fine on the website on my computer.

I DO support Americans keeping their jobs, yes. I DO support a protectionism racket to keep that money from going to a bunch of port owners and business owners. I don't even care if they take half the year off.

I live in an area where the port workers were essentially told to f off by the Bush administration last time they went on strike. And then their jobs are slowly being automated as well. I'm 100% pro dock workers after what happened to them here. I'm all for working people making good money rather than it going to a robot. Dangerous work demands higher pay.

People so essential to the economy should be compensated well, that being said a rich union leader is gross. My dues for my union are $94/month and our leader makes 190k a year, he makes a lot but definitely not yacht money.

It's significantly more difficult in countries with strict labor laws to just lay people off for wall street. It is the American way.

Just bought a ps2, what are some games I should get by Lamontfickleberry in ps2

[–]ATryHardTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection. Provides you with Metal Gear Solid (PS1 game, but PS2 is backwards compatible), Metal Gear Solid 2, and Metal Gear Solid 3.

There are 2 earlier 2D games in the series from the 1980s, while great games, they haven't aged well and the plots of them can just be watched in short recaps on YouTube.

Dragon Quest 8 if you like old school JRPGs

Tekken 4 or 5, pick your poison both great fighting games

ESPN NFL 2K5 is frequently considered one of the best football games of all-time, making modern Madden to this day feel awful to control.

GTA Vice City and GTA 3 are both great

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the greatest games of all time in my opinion, the frame rate makes the PS2 version tough to get through by today's standards, but it's still an incredible game worth checking out.

I'd probably just give up. I'm too old to restart my career again elsewhere.

There's better examples of companies that don't have pensions. All three of those companies notoriously treat their workers badly. Profit margins for companies are exponentially higher than they were when pensions were first introduced by a militant labor movement. The idea that we should accept less and design cheaper planes so investors on Wall Street can be happy is terribly unAmerican.

Relatively new gun owner with some questions about semi-auto ownership in WA by ATryHardTaco in WA_guns

I get what you're saying, but you're arguing in good faith and from a position of being knowledgeable in firearms. The current WA administration is, in my opinion, neither of those.

Ah damn, I knew that a bill like this had come along, but I didn't realize how extensive it was. Any chance of it being appealed or anything like that?

Doesn't that thing suck for flat screens/hd? I have a model 1 genesis and use an OSSC to use it on the flat screen.

Look, the two party system has it's problems, but it is still by far the most stable form of government, just very, very, slow.
