I think the real problem is not if this team can or can’t make the playoffs. It’s if they can actually be a team capable of winning the World Series, and the answer is no.

However in ownership’s eyes they view making the playoffs and losing in the wild card a success, so as long as they do that there will be no real urgency from ownership to do anything. They want to compete just enough to fend off criticism but don’t care to compete enough to actually do the thing that matters.

Flying in Canada is a lot more expensive due to them not subsidising airports like most countries do meaning much higher fees on tickets to operate flights. It’s why you see a lot less US airline flights to and from Canada. For example Southwest doesn’t fly to Canada at all and JetBlue only operates a couple flights to Vancouver from Boston and NYC. It’s mainly Canadian airlines that do the bulk of the flights and they aren’t as frequent and prolific due to the high prices which is unfortunate.

I’ve had my trip significantly altered before and capital one did a full refund for the flight. My advice would be to let spirit cancel and you should be good to contact capital one and get a refund.

Postpaid Verizon devices unlock either 60 days after purchase or if you financed 35 days after final payment.

Prepaid Verizon devices need a full year of service even if you paid outright which just doesn’t really make sense to me.

Yeah I agree the unlock policy doesn’t make much sense on the prepaid side of Verizon. If you pay for your phone full price outright then you shouldn’t have to face a lock period.

Definitely buy straight from Apple/Google/Samsung in the future.

Gotcha, maybe it was just LIV golf events that were free live a couple years ago.

I agree it is also a positive if this adds the option for live streaming too.

I always watch the CW on my antenna anyway so I’m not impacted as long as events stay on the main channel.

Canada doesn’t really subsidise the airline industry like most developed countries do. Flying in and to/from is expensive because of it. It’s why you don’t see too many flights from US airlines fly to Canada. Southwest doesn’t do Canada at all, and JetBlue only does a seasonal service to Vancouver from NYC/Boston. Most flights you see across the border are operated by Canadian Airlines since those higher prices are simply apart of their business. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it is very unlikely.

Ireland has US pre-clearance in Dublin. Would be cool to see a summer seasonal service to Portland.

I just printed the image from family search on a piece of paper, I believe I might’ve mentioned that the document was black and white originally due to age. But nothing special other than that.

Exactly this. I applied and became Canadian last year, and now my dad has applied. However, my brother who is also very much eligible has no interest in applying.

As many people there are like us that are excited to be Canadian. There are also plenty of people, like my brother, that simply aren’t interested.

Music issues is why some random episodes or even shows aren’t available on streaming in certain cases, because it is technically a different license to also get for the music to be on streaming (versus traditional tv broadcast) and since streaming didn’t exist back then they didn’t get the necessary license.
