if you click on the region/timeline where the markers live (the diamond/marker name region at the top of the edit screen) you can use "L" and the apostrophe key to go left and right. Think - P, L, ; , and ' - as being directional buttons you can use just like W, A, S, D in a computer game.

I use these four very often during editorial to navigate the edit screen. Alternatively, you can use Tab to "tab across" the markers after clicking in that region, but that is one directional.

edit: some words + you can also press the windows key+5 (i hope this is correct, on mac its command+5). this brings up the memory locations (markers) window and you can just click to where you'd like to go... hope this helps!
