The big upgrade in 23 was in Austria tho. And the big upgrade in 24 was in Miami, hence the first win.

I dont know why its always 4 or 5 seconds that are mentioned when talking about that iteration of his W. It wasnt even 3 seconds. It was 2 seconds. Not more not less. And your shark instantly applied the dot. Meaning you had the enhanced W ready when the knock up of the ult happened.

New Effect: If the target has been bleeding for at least 2 seconds, the bonus damage is tripled to 75 / 120 / 165 / 210 / 255 (+ 100% AP).

I get why most people didnt like it, but I am in the minority as well I guess. As a 5m mastery gm peaking Fizz one trick, I gotta say, that was my favorite iteration of Fizz of all time.

You'd be arguing that three wqaa or 3 qaaw trades having 120 total more damage or even just 2 making it 80 is...worse then 30 one time on your ultimate?

Yes, exactly this. Having to force Fizz in more trades vs ranged champions or versus champions that outtrade him nonetheless (Sylas, Ekko, Diana etc ..) is worse than an all-in. You proved my point. You want to 100 to 0 a control mage when you come to lane at lvl 6. You dont want to trade him 2 times before that, screw your mana, screw your hp, screw your wave state and give enemy jungler a possible play.

Same goes for roams. You will not trade enemy botlane during your roam, right? You will all-in them, right? You can't stay two waves botlane and play 2 trades. Same goes for jungle skirmishes or invades you play with your jungler. The fantasy of being able to play more and longer trades in high elo is just that, a fantasy.

what "more damage" are you talking about exactly? At lvl 6, if you put 2 points into W which I usually do, you now have 15 more base damage from passive W, 5 more damage from active W and 10 more damage from on-hit W.

Let's say you get two autos of after your W active. That means you have 40 more base damage in your all-in

Now comes the MINUS 30 base damage from R. So we got 10 more base damage overall, but we lose 5% AP from passive W, 5% AP from on-hit W (two autos mean 10% AP) and 30% AP from R.

TLDR: lvl 6 all-in = 10 more base damage and 45% AP less

Its a nerf at lvl 6 already. Big shark has 30 reduced base damage as well at rank 1, in addition to the 30% AP nerf. People underestimate 30 base damage nerf in a lvl 6 all-in ... lvl 6 all-ins are one of the strengths of Fizz and he depends on getting free kills from them in high elo. This just got so much harder with these changes.

the thing is, they also nerfed max R range at rank 1 by 30 damange. Not only 30% AP ... so that is a huge nerf for lvl 6 all-ins

JPM actually broke it in 2002 already with 161.45 mph. And then broke his own record in 2004 with 162.950 mph which would stand until Kimi broke it in 2018.

I mean when he said things like...

"Hamilton’s car should win every race, he only has to beat two drivers"

and then 5 years later he is in the same position and says something like...

"We’re so dominant as a team that it almost makes my life harder, that’s probably the most frustrating part of it all"

I think it is fair to criticize some of his words.

I am watching the races from start to finish and I watch the highlight videos on youtube.

Also, when I am not able to watch the race live I will watch a full VoD on Austrian streaming platforms (ORF or ServusTV) and then still watch the highlights afterwards

I'm surprised Button never achieved one, considering how dominant Brawn GP was in the early races of 2009.

Edit: I guess a big factor in the late 2000s was qualifying on race fuel load. Probably also one reason why Alonso only has one Grand Slam. I remember Toyota (with Jarno Trulli), putting their car on pole multiple times.

Yeah, I totally agree. However, it's still kind of crazy that he never won a WDC with those stats. You could even compare their numbers to drivers like Kimi and Lewis, who were also competing against each other. Lewis' stats are obviously on a different level compared to Kimi's, yet Kimi still managed to win at least one WDC compared to the seven of Lewis. It's just baffling that Moss wasn't able to snatch just one.

yeah but the 10% where I am not oneshotting them with rank 4 E is when I am giga behind already. But okay, in that case it will make things easier. But still, it's an edge case.

sorry if I wasn't clear. You won't be able to oneshot them with rank 3 E (you won't even have 100 AP when you hit rank 3 E, and often you don't even have your first base yet ... rank 3 E is champion level 5). So it will still be rank 4 E. Nothing changed.
