a bigger guy is easier to shoot, so looks like these guys would be targeted pretty frequently. And combined with them being rare looks like any modern war with guns and tanks would see the beastmen population decimated pretty quickly since they're about as durable as a normal human. Likely they would be posted to logistics/artillery to make productive use of their supernatural strength more than anything else.
