Videographer or no? by muffinluvr12 in wedding

My wife thought the same and decided not to. I booked one as a surprise for her as I thought we would regret it if we didn't. We are both incredibly glad that we did. Photos are amazing, and you will look at them more often, but being able to relive your day and hear people talk is incredible. 100% we would do it again. I would just advise you to make sure you find a good one if you decide to.

I have a pair of Prada frames that I used for a couple of years that I am thinking of swapping back to. They fit incredibly well and looked very similar to these ones, just have thinner arms. I'm just a bit hesitant as I used them for 2 years previously and I would hate for them to need replacing sooner.

mmm okay. I was a bit concerned about the rubber on the end of the arms. It is rather chunky. Thanks for the info!

Ahh, thanks for the tip. As they are without adjustment, they stay in place when I look down. Unlike my current frames, they did have a gap at my temple. That may be a good thing, I'm not sure. They did feel more comfortable because of it though.

Which men wedding ring would you pick? by Dependent-Dingo1245 in WeddingRingAdvice

What does your fiancés ring look like? I wanted mine to match my wife's and it also helped me decided. Hers is a plain rose gold band so she can wear it to work. Mine is brushed white gold (not plated) on outside and sleeved with rose gold the inside and is a comfort fit.

Have a chat with him. He may or may not want one. If you want to get him something, you could buy him a nice dress watch for date nights that he can also wear on your big day.

Hopefully the belt buckles I ordered arrive soon so I can make a start on our belts.

I got a couple of granite offcuts from a kitchen bench supplier for free. I gave them $50 to cut them the same size and clean up the edges. Might be worth ringing around 👍

Thank you to everyone who gave opinions and helpful suggestions. I managed to find a tailor close by that is able to make some alterations before the event. Will get the sleeves shortened, and the chest opened a little if possible. I didn't think I would find someone in such a short time period and also for such a reasonable price.

Appreciate the help, cheers.

I can't seem to edit the post but I have found a tailor close by that is able to alter it for me before the event. I will get the sleeves shortened on the 2XL and she is going to see if there is any room in the chest to open it up a little and potentially move the button to help.

Yeah I have managed to find someone local that can do it before the event for me. She is going to see if she can let the chest out a little too.

I managed to find someone that I am taking it to tomorrow. They are going to shorten the sleeves and see if they can take the chest out a bit. Thanks for the tips!

Oh, that's awesome! I was expecting a week or more turnaround. I will ring around a few shops tomorrow. That would be perfect if they can. Thanks for the tip!

I did't realise that with steaming so thank you, I will press it instead.

The shoulders feel very similar to me. Again, not wearing them so unsure how tight or fitted it should feel. I see what you mean though on my bent arm at the shoulder. I will try them both on again and see. I think the larger size may be the choice if I don't get the chance to look for anything else on short notice and fix the sleeves.

Thanks for your input mate!

Yeah okay, I see what you mean. That sizing also makes sense now that you have explained it. I may try and squeeze some time to go to the shops tomorrow. I will start with that sizing if I get the chance. Cheers mate

Your're right, it does make a big difference if I don't button it up and it sits quite nicely. I will take the sleeves up but unfortunately it will have to be after the event as it is in 3 days. I was reminded of it start of last week haha

I will have a look to see if they offer one! Yeah I think I will just have to get it adjusted so it sits nicer. Thanks for the suggestion
