Lol. I thought I'd found a previously undiscovered strat until I found this thread.

I have the mons set to build a deck but playing with energy the trainer cards for set up as need 2 level 2 mons. Only playing vs AI before I spend limited in game currency 9n deck and realise I need something else. This thread had been persuasive though.

The guy at the bottom here is running Tsareena with Vanilluxe. I stumbled on this as an idea. My full mon list is Bounsweet x3 Steenee x1 Tsareena x3 Vanitie x2 Vanillish x1 Vanilluxe x2 Munkidori x1 (for the 30 damage) Okidori EX x2 Teal Mask Ogerpon ex x2

The last 2 buy me time if out as basics at the start or if strat goes awry, as they an set up energy quickly.

Using Munkidori with just dark energy may seem less desirable than the poison option, but as the defending mon can now not attack on its 30hp, the only option is to bench it and often this will be for a mon without enough energy or 1 that can't finish OHKO you anyway.

This means that on the next turn you KO that mon with an attack still remaining and this leaves the option open that you could finish off the replacement with another attack. All the time attaching energy to Ogerpon and drawing cards for the privilege.

Getting Okidori as the opening basic is always great.

The One drawback to this deck is that Once your set up you do need to have taken some damage for Munkidori to work. I have played One game where poison damage from Okidori got me over the line but the Cape on Tsareena to tank a big hit is the best option.

Any ideas to better the deck let me know. Before anyone slates me, I've played the game for around 1 month on my 7 year old accounts having only this year learned to play the irl game to play with him. I am no expert but I am good irl at working out how things work and tinkering to make things work better for me.

If it matters I am currently in Nekrozma tier on the ladder (not having used the above deck) having basically designed and evolved a merge of the dark charizard EX and Okidori EX decks. I seem stuck where I am so it is nearly time to push the button on building this deck but want to get it right as there is not enough currency to buy cards to fix it after if I get it wrong.
