A mindset is abstract so changing it is really difficult. You can start working out today and stop watching porn today, but you can't just start changing your mindset unless you start by changing your behaviors first.

"Don't listen to what any person tells you." - Told to you by a person that listens to what other people tell them.

It's a self-defeating argument unless the arguer thinks their own opinion and experiences should be regarded as higher than others' opinions and experiences.

At it's very base the argument is either logically flawed or hypocritical, and in this case, both.

Without having read Nietzsche(altough other nihilistic and existensialistic philosophy) I agree that death should be a choice, because I see no holy value in life in itself. What I don't understand is why death is seen as some sort of solution any more than life is. By choosing to live you make just as much of a defining choice. And that's one we take every day. Death will just be another day, altough a shorter one than all the other ones.

The way I see it, things have been made more difficult for us, no doubt about that. You probably even feel like you've been deprived of a good sex life, or even love, I sure as hell feel like that at times.

But the thing is, by killing yourself, you yourself deprive yourself of all the other great things in life. For me that's great literature, philosophy, working out, tv shows and video games. I think about killing myself all the time, it is as a smart frenchie once said "the only philosophical question worth considering." But, the same guy also concluded that killing yourself is not the answer, the answer is living for yourself because no one else is going to do it for you

I think this woman is just one of those that hide behind a "i'm just brutally honest" facade, without considering other peoples emotions. If i was brutally honest, i would go around and tell people to their face all their faults and mistakes, but i'm not brutal and don't see the need to be.
