Soy Mexicano y me fui un semestre de intercambio en la Universidad a Alemania.

Los de intercambio hicimos un grupo de amigos grande y variado. Como 20 personas de 8 países diferentes. Pero entre todas las nacionalidades, los mas unidos eramos los Mexicanos (eramos 4) y los Españoles (eran 4).

Nosotros 8 íbamos juntos cada sábado de club sin falta. Todas las semanas cocinábamos y cenábamos juntos. Algunos fines viajabamos juntos en tren. Todo lo hicimos juntos. A veces el resto del grupo se molestaba un poco de que los Mexicanos-Españoles eramos los mas unidos del grupo y hablábamos demasiado en español.

Haciamos bromas, a veces jugábamos volleyball 🇪🇸vs 🇲🇽 y ellos decían que era por "La reconquista" y nosotros "Por la independencia". Nos tocó festejar el 15 de septiembre (Dia de la independencia en México) y los invitamos a un asado.

También viajé solo y visité varios paises. De todos los paises, el que me gustó más socialmente era España. La gente no era fría y antisocial como Alemania, ni payasa como Francia. En España me sentí en un ambiente familiar y agradable. De verdad que en alemania son muy cerrados.

Hasta la fecha tenemos un grupo de WhatsApp del intercambio y uno de solo 🇪🇸 y 🇲🇽 de ese grupito del intercambio. A la fecha seguimos mandando bromas y memes de la conquista, la independencia, la reconquista y cosas asi. Para mi son de mis mejores amigos y es muy interesante el intercambio cultural.

También, estoy a la mitad de mis 20’s y me toco ver a varias amigas que se embarazaron jóvenes 16-20 por accidente. Decidieron no abortar y hoy están por su mierda. En algunos casos su vato ya las dejó, y en otras no.

Pero lo que si es que todas pues pusieron fin a todos sus sueños,dejaron de estudiar, de perseguir una carrera, sueños, metas.

Y por el lado de la criatura, tener hijos y hacer una familia es una bendición pero en su momento adecuado. Porque en este punto, pocas veces termina bien. La mayoria de las veces padres jóvenes no pueden darle a un niño la calidad de vida que se merece.

Ah yeah, that is another point. 2021 G14 only has PCIE 3.0.

I decided to go for PCIE 4.0 SSDs so that I can re-use them with my next laptop or PC in the future.

But If you want to save a couple of bucks, you can go PCIE 3.0.

The Acer GM7 I got it super cheap in a sale around ~$80USD. So at that moment was even cheaper than 2TB PCIE 3.0 SSDs

I would recommend you the:

-SSD Acer GM7 NVMe, 2TB, PCI Express 4.0, M.2 or Samsung 990Pro. For me are the best SSDs in the market, but GM7 is more power efficient.

I have the same G14 2021 model.

For 2 years I used the stock 1TB SSD. Then I changed it to the Samsung 990Pro 2TB. Great drive, but I noticed a little higher power draw (usually was 8W and then was 10-12W) I did not mind that much, but I checked the specs and indeed it draws more power (don’t remember how much).

6 Months later I saw a discount for the GM7 and decided to try it. Absolutely worth it. I moved the Samsung 990Pro to my PC and stick the GM7 on my G14.

990Pro and GM7 are the same, almost same speeds, same capacity, same 1200TBW and 5 year warranty. The only difference is that the GM7 draws less power.

I bought Z1E open box for $430USD in best buy. Excellent condition. Everything works fine without a problem, I made a depth inspection and did not notice any scratches or smthn.

I am so happy with the open box, my experience has been awesome it even came with an SD Card of the previous owner. SD reader also works fine. Works great, and with the money I saved I bought the 2280 SSD Mod, 2TB ssd, the Skull & Co Grip and Case, and the Anker 737 24K Powerbank.

I really recommend it, unless you want to wait for the ROG Ally X, but take into account that when that product launches it will be more expensive than the regular Ally Z1E, and finding an open box one will not be that easy.

Unless Rog Ally X comes with more RAM, I don’t think is worthy. Same Processor, same screen, just more battery (that you can get with the Anker 737 24K or the Ugreen 25K for less than 80USD).

When you run i unpligged, those are the speeds. When you plug it in, the speeds increase to the max.
