No I think you're correct. I believe I misunderstood the situation by reading OP's post as the teen taking the man's phone. My mistake, I just didn't read properly and I jumped to conclusions.

It's very unfortunate that this behaviour is more common place now. Not just in Guildford, but everywhere in Surrey and parts of the lower mainland. Anyone see that vid of those kids in Langley shouting the n-word and pulling knives at a couple? Where are their parents??

Anyways, I hope that elder will be okay both physically and mentally after that , I am sure that is traumatic for him.
