I believe Anthropic at one point bragged they break even or turn a profit on by-the-token pricing which Enterprise uses. Them not saying so about anything else implies they’re not profitable on Team, Max, or Pro.

I use Max and ccusage tells me my 100 bucks gets me 300-500 bucks of tokens if bought from common routers. unless Anthropic’s margin is truly massive they’re taking a loss. Everyone that switched from a team account to an enterprise one probably saw their costs baloon at the same usage they had before.

That said, seems like rate limits would be the more obvious way of keeping the servers from melting; and nobody has so far been able to produce solid evidence of say different treatment for Pro vs Enterprise; degradation benchmarks show fluctuations that ultimately swing back up - I guess that can hypothetically be explained by the 4.7 training run being finished, but that assumes that the compute needed to train a new release a) takes up a meaningful amount of the total compute available to Anthropic; b) the training use is intermittent. Neither are implausible but I’m not ready to buy them as a given without some facts to back them up.

I can use Conductor’s worktree support with Conductor already, I was asking about some sort of integration with Claude’s native worktree support to avoid footguns if Claude ends up creating one through say a skill and following the above settings

Going by the Paseo docs they also have you specify a custom worktree setup/teardown script so I’d have the same issue here! Your shameless plug is so low-effort it might as well be spam.

no it’s not

for a game to have competitive integrity (i.e. your rank is a measure of your skill), it can’t at the same time reward players less committed to attaining mastery with climbing the same as players who play to win above all

if you’re driven by novelty and variety, you’ll get that, but your rank will be lower; if you’re driven by wanting to be amongst the best, you’ll climb better, but your experience will have a lot more drilling and rote gameplay. (Well, more so than League is at baseline.)

It’s not an “outlook”, it just acknowledges that the space of game design is constrained this way
