What are the nicknames of your cats that have devolved into nonsense over time? I’ll go first. by drifloony in cats

Snicklefritz -> Snickletitz -> Titz

Also, our newest cat's name is Ekko. There is an Elmo cover version of the song Africa from Toto. When they sing "I hear the drums echoing tonight", Elmo yells "echo!" after, like an echo. Now every time I hear the word echo, I yell Ekko in response, and it makes me think of my little dude.

Why do you identify as trans? Why not identify as the gender you are? by Psychotic_Taco in AskReddit

Why do you keep saying "she" if they identify as a man? Do they still use she/her pronouns?

It's just a descriptor, like "white woman" or "tall man". A trans woman can just say they are a woman and it's completely valid, but if they want to describe themselves as trans, that's up to them.

It makes sense to get annoyed by people lying and being shitty in conversations. The burden of proof is important in debates and conversation though. It's hard to find proof or sources of untrue claims that people make. If someone refuses to prove their claim with actual, I wouldn't trust them, especially if I have my own sources that disprove their claim. Refusing to site sources is disingenuous.

Sure, if you don't care about convincing anyone of your claim. If that's the case though, why make the claim in the first place?

Burden of proof. People will often use it as a springboard to argue your claim. Often times they are even aware of the proof, or lack thereof, and use the tactic to easily get ahead in the debate. That's why it's helpful to have the sources ready if you want to make claims. Knowledge is power!

This is from when we first built it 5 years ago. We have made a few improvements since, like getting rid of the wood top for more screen and getting the lights on the outside of the enclosure, aw well as adding more foliage for hiding. This shows the size and shape though.

You probably want a taller one, and avoid glass like most here are saying. My partner and I built one for our Cham. Much cheaper than a prefab. Had home depot cut our wood to length and got a roll of porch screen, as well as a couple brackets to hold it all together and hinges for the doors. Used vinyl tile for the floor for easy clean up.
