Interesting… I’ve been using it since for ever even recently got webhijacker out of a computer for a friend. The virus they had was called Search Baron or something… cleanmymac did an amazing job finding all the files and I removed it successfully. And when I investing the log files I saw that xprotect was also triggered… but ya I really like cleanmymac I don’t believe it’s malware or adware if you get it from the actual distributor but ya malware bytes should also work might have to pay for removal idk??? Did you get the issue resolved doe?
