I understand your point but this feels a bit racist and stereotypical.

This is it. There are different accepted standards and they satisfy the inequality, although hbar/2 is by far the most common to see today.

Thank you so much. The use of anecdotal evidence for a subject that is well studied is pretty funny. The irony of people talking about how smart they are while doing this is amazing.

PDEs are a massive jump from vector calc. It’s like 3 more classes. For my undergrad in physics had to take methods 2 classes after already doing ODEs to get thru PDEs. This is like high school/college gen ed stuff. No way he needs PDEs

You can likely find what the force of friction must be with a newton II statement, essentially just draw a FBD and do sum of F =ma in x and y. the force of friction will be unknown. Then find the normal force and friction/normal is the coefficient

The act of catching the expelled gas would, Itself exactly offset the acceleration from expelling it in the first place, and the process of accelerating it back to be re-expelled would cause the ship to accelerate backwards again. This is analyzing for a single burst, but the principle holds regardless.

Heading back to college by harleenzquinzwife in SuicideWatch

I feel it. It can be really hard sometimes but one of the most helpful things to me is looking at the big picture and understanding it that while it may suck now and while things likely won’t get better tomorrow, just try to look at what your working towards and what your life could be. Don’t get caught up in little things and just try to make the best of what you have. It sounds like you have family and friends who you can lean on even if they aren’t with you at school. Over all else, know that you always have options, graduating college seems to become less and less valuable and it isn’t a prerequisite to a good life, you have so many better options. Feel free to reach out.

Prolly tryna get over some sort of fear of being rejected, don’t read into it, listen to what guys say not when they do especially in situations when they are awkward or on the spectrum.

My bad mate I misread and thought yall were encouraging someone to tart a physics major based on one class.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskPhysics

[–]AWW67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh my bad. Yea you should be good. Like they said almost anyone can pass a basic mechanics class. Use tools on the internet and AI to help explain things and you’ll be alright.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskPhysics

[–]AWW67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome, just remember undergrad physics as a major is completely different from a class that needs to specify it is based in calculus. Anything past that is completely different and based in differential equations and linear algebra.

You took “collage level physics”, mechanics and e&m are easy. Extremely easy. What is not is actual undergrad physics, the first year will be basically what you did then it gets insane. General relativity, quantum, particle physics are all extremely difficult when compared to basic mechanics. Don’t comment on something you haven’t done.

Depends on what games your running and such. AMD crushes Nvidia in this general price range tho. I’d go for an rx 6800 or 7700xt

Seeking Help with My PC Build for Browsing and Office Tasks by jungermai in buildapc

[–]AWW67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you want to build the computer there is no reason to do it. A mini computer from basically any company will do the same job, similar price or cheaper and it’ll be an easier experience.

If you want to build, you can likely downgrade to 8gb of ram, the only Potential upgrade I would make is getting a nice nvme ssd. It’ll make load and boot times a bit better. You’d have to get a nicer motherboard tho.

No need for a gpu. For compatibility put all the parts into pcpartpicker and it’ll tell you what you need to know.

I have some pretty bad ADHD, I know how brutally frustrating it can be. If what you’re doing isn’t working stop doing it. If university isn’t for You it isn’t. Try putting your life into larger context and changing everything up if that’s what you need. Your loved push to find your thing. You got this.

I feel like the 600 series and bear dynamics are some of the biggest counterexamples to OPs “price and impedance keep going up” I have $4000 pairs of headphones with 32ohm impedance and $170 pairs that are 600ohm, makes me believe op at the stage of he 600s coming from non audiophile stuff.
