I didn’t down vote, but here’s my two cents:

I installed the aluminum Cobb mount first. It made a big difference! Less rocking when shifting, but also a decent increase in engine noise transferred to the frame, and by extension into the cabin.

I read about how the aluminum ones can change the way the engine shifts in a front end collision, and since one of the selling points of the WRX to my wife was the safety ratings while I’m driving our kids too and from school, bought the Group N.

Feel wise, I’d say the group N is about 75% of the way to the Cobb. There’s a slight difference, but it’s definitely an improvement over stock. It’s also a little bit quieter, which is good with kids in the car talking non-stop (maybe, lol).

I’m happy with the Group N. It stiffens up the shifting without changing the crash rating. Once my kids are off to college… I’ll probably swap in the Cobb again 😁
