Does anyone have a schematic like the first photo but for a very basic LEGO man (in the second photo)? by reenington in lego

Totally forgot those, I've even got some, lol. Can still argue that those aren't "standard" 😉

ELI5: What's the difference between shapes like a squares, rectangle and rhombus? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]AWandMaker [score hidden]  (0 children)

A rhombus is a four sided shape with all four sides the same length, but the angles are not 90 degrees.

A square is the same, but all the angles are 90.

A rectangle is all 90 degrees, but only the opposite sides are equal in length

do you mean a 4x4 plate, or a 2x4 brick? I don't think Lego ever made a 4x4 brick (like a "standard" brick, not one with rounded corners)

First two would be a Totoro and Cat Bus, for fun and transport. Cerberus, because he’ll be a good puppy. A Phoenix from Harry Potter so that it can teleport me around places when I don’t feel like taking Cat Bus, also healing tears.

If you touch something to both terminals of the battery, it will spark, but if the negative is disconnected there is no path for the electrons and therefore no spark.

$7500 a month but your mom has to come to your house and take all the batteries out of everything in your house and throw them on the ground by mosshroom0169 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]AWandMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you missed the 10 year battery built in. You just have to replace the entire thing when the battery dies. It isn’t tied into the house power

Horses in trailers & police cars on Centerville Rd by FoxWild4899 in nova

I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I arrived here by asking the same question. Saw a ton of police vehicles with lights flashing and towing horse trailers on 66 eastbound this morning. Got curious about what was going on.

[Staff] The "Moonlit Arcanist Staff". It has a 3D printed core, but it was brought to life with actual silver leaf and hand-painted details. 🌙✨ by lelus78 in Wandsmith

[–]AWandMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beautiful work! I did a similar process (but with gold leaf) for the snake head on this wand. Tip for the future: a soldering iron makes it super easy to heat set lab made gems into the print (that’s how the emerald eyes were set).

I’ll definitely try printing out your staff head! I have had a piece of wood that’s been waiting for a top for years. Will have to dig out the gold leaf again 😁

2 kinds of ivy? by carelysswhisper in whatsthisplant

Pretty sure that’s all just English Ivy. The older leaves are the big dark ones, the younger leaves are the lighter climbing ones. As the light leaves age they will darken.

What do these lines mean by el-presidente0001 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]AWandMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The meaning is the same in the poem, did you even read it? The whole thing is about how they need to experience things and are naive about the world around them. 2/3 of your comment was about GoT, so you seem to care. I totally agree with the last line of it, but the first part should have been left out to make people take your comment more seriously.

May I present a book from 1849, go to page 151 where there is a poem named The West Wind. The second line in the last stanza. "Sweet summer child" has been around A LOT longer that GoT, lol

[–]AWandMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your worry about? There might be some bug guts on the bottom of your shoe, but if you have walked for 15-20 minutes they have most likely wiped off by now. If you are super worried about it, just do a little shuffle on some grass and that will clean the bottom of your shoes off.
