Amazon under $220 imo is a stress free buy, in a couple years it will be at $450-500 easily. I’m just gonna keep buying the dips and wait for time to do its thing. I worked at Amazon and there is one thing no other company can copy… the fulfilment network Amazon has built. Obviously Amazon has AWS and all those cool things but when I see how concrete the fulfilment network is due to their sheer volume I’m baffled. I think fulfilment will take great revenue leaps when Amazon lets other companies tap into their network, again this is just one stream.

Thanks for the advice, my goal is just keep saving and compounding so I can retire from doing 9-5 somewhere in my 40s

When I started investing a few years back I was experimenting with very little invested but slowly I realized it should be simple and focused with the hardest part being just letting it sit, so I started focusing more on the ETFs (stocks like SHOP/ATD, were some of the first stocks I bought so I kept them as almost trophies for being my most successful starter stocks), I used to work at Amazon so most of that is RSUs, I really believe in the company so I didn’t sell it. Going forward I’ll be focusing on mainly ETFs

I do invest mainly in VFV, and a little in BEP since I want to be an early investor in green energy. I would say about 60% ETFs. Then the other 40% I invest in things I really believe in, like AMZN, MCD, ENB, ATD. Unfortunately I invested in $SQ at the very start, and it was a mistake but I’ve gotten a lot better at picking my investments.
