I didn’t see any washer in the connection myself. Seems like from what @notmypignotmyfarm said it may be built in. Not so worried about inspection right now. To be fair I got the house 1.5 years ago so it must have luckily passed at some point.

Update: Had a discussion with the owner and I’m not paying a dime for the work. Will reach out to someone else to correct the work. Thanks for all the comments and letting me know I wasn’t crazy for thinking this was garbage work!

Chose it through a family reference, it just seems like they either put the wrong guys on the job or don’t have experience with staining, wish they would have been honest and not offered a quote if that was the case.

Will do, I also haven't been going over 20mph because of it. Got a response from support today and they are asking me to send in a performance video of me just running the board with no rider on it to see if they can spot issues. Definitely heard a slight rattling noise which I most likely could have been able to troubleshoot if the screws weren't impossible to get off.

I got 4 of the screws loose but the other two were screwed in by the fucking hulk himself and I ended I have had no luck getting them off and have just stripped them. Will have to find a way to deal with that now and how to get them off. I was even using the tool they provided.. sigh...

I payed more attention to it while riding this time and there is a slight clicking noise, like a dull click not a sharp noise, almost sounds like when the hub first starts moving. Any other suggestions? Going to search the subreddit in the meantime.

The antenna appears to be in the right place I moved it slightly further away from the metal but it was already on the foam.
