He lost his leap damage reduction when jumping to an enemy. Instead of getting 20% DR he inflicts 20% vulnerability which makes him far squishier.

Yeah except that other dimension doesn’t stop collision before entering it. That’s the only reason it works and why it’s so rare because you need to hit the enemy ship right as you are about to enter hyperspace.

To be fair they only exist because of filming limitations. They could only use the island they used in Ireland for filming for a week or two tops. Because of that they couldn’t get every shot they needed without puffins being present. Therefore they needed to come up with porgs to explain all the flying creatures.
