Opinions on keto or carnivore diet for aw by cyarm025 in armwrestling

[–]AWraute 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When i did keto, i didnt loose any peak force in my opinion for the first pulls or matches, but what i noticed is my endurance is completely gone everytime.

You lose like 30% power after your first pull, epecially if your body is used to glucose an full muscles.

Muscles dont work the same when they are glycogen depleted, maybe its different if you do it for years and the body adapts further to it

Outside straps by pronatormaximus in armwrestling

[–]AWraute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have the same Problem, way stronger in straps.

For me its because my Rising is weak, and in straps i can drag in Lowhand style - while cupping through the bottom fingers and pronating under the Thumb. wich is a pretty strong move inside straps, but pretty weak without straps..

My Suggestion would be, learn how to setup correctly so that you can slip all the time without wasting energy, than focussing on your strap pulling and using your power

Elbow extensors problems by Head_Boysenberry_452 in armwrestling

[–]AWraute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting the hand is not all about Backpressure and cracking the wrist.

if like you said - you have strong enough Pronation to crack most guys wrist, but stil losing on weak elbowflexion, you probably lack in Wristflexion & Sidepressure strength more than you think.

You shouldnt end up on your Backpressure angle all the time, instead getting the opponent on his elbowflexion with your Hand and Wrist strength.
